@@living2day617 That seems really expensive. We purchased 17 cabinets from lowes last month, 4 of which are 7' pantries. We paid $5,000 for all the cabinets. We did the work ourselves. We hired a local company for our countertops.

That's because a lot of people don't prep their cabinets and take short cuts...Same with paint a boat..We use the boat paint from Lowe's and it lasts years...Last time we painted one of our boats it was 13years ago and still looks like new...Same applies to cabinets you can't take short cuts on the prep work..If you do you just wasted your time and money

Casey Phelps The door style is actually timeless and the colour is sort of making a come-back. I think designers are pushing grey and white on us. I would: 1) only paint the counter top white (not a warm but a rather stark white that will go seamlessly with the appliances) and 2) buy peel-and-stick tile for the backsplash to tie in the cabinets and counter and 3) add brushed nickle hardware. (I would definitely not add trim at the top of the cabinets or remove doors or paint the backs a hot pink. I might be persuaded to place privacy acrylic glass in two doors but that would mean I'd basically have to destroy them first.)
