I watched your other vid on behringer peddles and for Christmas I bought myself ten. Over Christmas I put my first ever peddle board together. Ok they're plastic but they sound awesome. I'd like to say thank you, because it was only watching your Vids that made me buy them. I am 100% happy with my peddle board so THANK YOU.

Do you get noise? Did you daisy chain them or use a pedal power type supply? I just bought a used Peavey Studio Pro 112 and last night connected my Behringer compressor > tubescreamer > HM-2 > front of the amp. I'm not sure how quality the cable is that's going from the HM-2 into the amp, but I know the one from my guitar into the compressor is top notch, and they're daisy chained, and there's lot of him/noise. I was also sitting very close to the amp as I was trying things, tweaking knobs, etc. so not sure what the problem is and/or how to rectify it. Thx in advance for any help you might share!
@cooksey1ac2 жыл бұрын
@@joeblough261 mine are daisy chained, I get no hum or buzz at all. Check your cables. I'm using a telecaster and my amp is a blackStar.
@squirelova18152 жыл бұрын
@@joeblough261 Are you using Truetone's One Spot daisy chain adapter? Those are supposed to be Silent aka noise free when chaining analog pedals but the more sensitive Digital pedals might need to be separately powered or isolated and that is the ONLY reason Truetone even bothered to make their own version of very high Quality isolated power supplies.

Behringer takes a lot of heat, but there is a guy, from a decently well known metal band, that has at least one on his touring board. It's all about how well you take care of your gear. The guy that owns Behringer actually makes a lot of the components that goes into most of the electronics we use daily. His stuff can't be that bad.

I had a DS1 and a DS2 turbo and did enjoy them. Then I came across a boss deluxe reverb pedal and was not a fan. Traded it for a DS1X and I'm blown away. Ended up getting rid of the DS1 and DS2. It's absolutely amazing. Touch sensitive and everything. It will never leave my board. It could not be more badass. I used my DS1X and MXR Raijin drive for distortion/drive. That's it.

Can you actually BUY Behringer pedals on the proverbial High Street now? Since they're knockoffs of much more expensive brands (and how), wouldn't retailers just not stock them because their profit margins are negligible compared to a £90.00 Boss EQ pedal or something???
@theguitarmanifesto3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, most (lower) pedals are rip offs anyways
@RandyFricke17 күн бұрын
Remember that these Behringer pedals, although they sound great, are at the price-point they are because the physical components are the lowest quality Behringer can get away with. And that's fine. It's a $25 pedal. It gives you an idea of what the BOSS equivalent sounds like before you plunk down on a genuine BOSS pedal. I'm currently having an issue with an Ultra Chorus. Output B puts out 3/4 of the volume that Output A does when connected in stereo. It also started cutting out in both channels when I'd strum a chord. I got this one from Sweetwater and they have been great by sending me a fresh one at no charge so I can troubleshoot further and hopefully resolve the issue. If the one Sweetwater sends me does the same thing as the bad one I'll order the BOSS Super Chorus and be done with it. I know I'll feel better about spending the $100 on the BOSS know I used the $25 Behringer pedal as I believe it was intended. I.E. Make them as cheap as possible, eat the returns and refunds, and sell a shit ton of them. It's a genius business model. And if I'm not mistaken Uli (Behringer) recycles all of that plastic that comes in as returns. I get the feeling that they do get a lot of returns, but if you use them as a test run before buying a BOSS pedal, and you don't depend on them to gig with you'll be OK. These are not built for lead foot stomping by any means. That's my 2¢ for what it's worth. Keep on rockin'!!!

No demo? Behringer was my first attempt at pedals. Unfortunately I couldn't get the ones I wanted ds1 or 2 or rat due to them being discontinued or out of stock. I tried a few and they either broke or I didn't like them. IV had that od300 you have there and the max distortion was good but turn it onto the overdrive and it was not good at all. I can be a nightmare for pedals though For some reason IV not had much luck with them. It's hard as a noob coz they all sound good on utube demos or massive amps in a shop but not good in my home on low volume and my small fender champion 20. I'm starting to think it may be there to much for my amp though if that's a thing? IV had genuine ds1. ds2. big muff. All to much for my fender champion 20 or maybe me being an amateur of setting them up? I seem to be able to get a decent Tone out of a mooer black secret which is a rat clone.

Like I said in the video some of the pedals I've covered before and the rest I need to do individual reviews, this video was just about building. To be honest a good amp makes all the difference.
