If I brought one of these, I would use tools till they break, then replace with Halfords Advance or Teng Tools as I go along. Reason being if you were to get foam inserts cut & a semi decent roll cab it would cost more than £500 in the first instance.

That's exactly what I have done, a few bits have been questionable, but I still feel for the money it definitely one of my best purchases!

For the cost it can't be faulted, quality is lacking in places, but you can't get a good roll cab for the same money, and this is loaded with tools! Couple of brakes so far but nothing that would stop me buying another

Any update on how the tools have held up? Trolley looks great but unsure about the tools? We’ve got a brisca F1 in the garage at the minute so 2-3 hours a day or so of use. Looks like it would be worth it but want to make sure. Cheers

To be fair I've had two breaks, they were my fault though. Incorrect use etc. For a home mechanic I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

How have the tools held up ? Iv been looking at these tool chests for a couple of years now. This won’t be used every day as it will be for my motorbike, MTB and some work on the car.

For that application it would ideal! We have been using them in the workshop for fairly heavy duty tasks on cars and they have held up OK. We broke one socket but that was actually the wrong one! 😕. So that's our fault and one of the ratchet spanners fell apart, but I put it back together and it has been fine since! Let me know if you treat yourself!

I've got very much the same kit with a different name 😂. It's bang on. Only thing I've added in the socket draw was 18mm sockets.

Is the box strong and sturdy compared to Snapon? Do the drawers have a lot of left to right movement? How wide is the side compartment and how deep is it?

Nothing in this price range is comparable to snap on, however the box feels sturdy and is possibly the best part of the kit, the tools are ok. are ideal for a home mechanic. I'm sorry I don't have dimensions to hand.

@@usuallybrokencars what about a comparison to Halfords pro? I have a snapon box, but lost all receipts. my Snapon dealer passed away the other Snapon dealers no longer dealers. Snapon don’t have records of my receipts. So rather than me paying £400 for new runners, I’m thinking of just buying one of these boxes .

Thanks for this video, always been curious about these tools that i've seen when browsing ebay. Doesn't look particularly any worse than the other chinese tools floating around e.g. US Pro and similar. Even the cheaper Sealey stuff. By the way, Nurnberg is a city in Germany, it's pronounced "nyuor-ruhm-buhg" (according to google!). It's probably just a German word chosen to give the impression of a premium product though, not likely related to the products. I do think though the Halfords Advanced trays are the ones to beat. It's a bit more expensive than this in total, but if you get a cheap cabinet and get those on a good day (they're around £30-40 each for the trays on sale), it wouldn't be too much more money.
