Great video. When doing the replicated cutouts, is there a quick way you have to copy the layout from one toolbox to the next? If it is multiple layers then I assume you just use the top layer as a template, but if it is only a single layer what then? Love the energy and enthusiasm you brought to this.

I'm a big fan of the big wipes. I build acoustic guitars and don't have a sink in my workshop as it's only 3.6 x 5.4 m. I'd like to get some foam to do my hand tool wall. Gonna be buying some soon - do you do like a 2.4m metre pack? I was working as a cabinet maker (cad tech) with an oversized bed and sheets that were 2.85 x 2.4m that I've done my inner skin with.
@klo16795 ай бұрын
I personally hate foam inserts. I’m a field technician with limited space to store my tools and have the tools to work on a massive variety of machinery. So my tools get sorted broadly and thrown into drawers to minimise the amount of wasted space. This comes at the cost of taking a little bit longer to find the correct tools and I do spend a small amount of time digging around drawers like my spanners drawer to find what I need. I had foam inserts in my first toolbox, and they worked when I had a limited collection of tools and had more drawers to work with. But as I expanded and needed more specialized and more generalised tooling I found that loose sorting and letting them find their place to maximise space was better. Being a field tech means my tools are on a vehicle and are bouncing around so there’s no way of keeping shit sorted by just setting them down in a drawer. Dividers welded into the drawers to let me loose sort tools.
