I was impressed at how sturdy it looked in that wind..

I have been quite intrigued by this tent for a while now, and, as a dedicated ground tent user, I've definitely been considering it for its excellent value. Whether my distinct lack of happily functioning knees will allow me to enjoy it is an entirely different matter, of course . Other criticisms I've heard about it are the lack of a flap for a diesel heater's output hose, something quite necessary on our side of the Pacific, alas, and that the rungs on the ladder do not tilt, so it hurts the feet and is a bit riskier when climbing up and down at night for those of us of a certain age.

Nice tents for the price. I’ve thought about purchasing one just to test and see if I’d like a RTT.

How did John attach the roof rack? I have the same Triton but have to use the clamps which I hate bit it looks like he must have bolted it to the roof?

I like it BUT - I'm just not _yet_ a crazy fan of RTT for 2 reasons: 1. That's 98kg added to your roof! 2. Wind resistance: = more fuel guzzling, more emissions, and more money for _every km fitted._ Good thing it's not on a boat I guess.
