I love how you did Sawyer’s room as well as Kingsley’s room too! Both you’re girls have such great taste for what they want and what they like. And the way you put it together and Derek too it’s just what makes you’re girls them. I am with Sawyer I love all the soft stuff too I have like 4 throw blankets that I use to sleep with and not a comforter bc I prefer the throw blanket instead and there all soft and comfy and also the little dressers she picked out too cute 🥰 for her as well! And still adore the drawings Derek made for her too with the candy corns 💜

Sawyer used to sleep with throw blankets instead of comforters for the same reason! I feel like bedding companies should make a greater effort to have the same quality as decorative and smaller blankets!

great job as usual! my idea: instead of taking off the frame in the closet, why not lift the shelf up on the baseboards and secure the shelf to the wall. since its resting on the baseboards on 3 sides, you can add a piece of trim to the front to steady it (and prevent anything from getting underneath)

You could use an oscillating tool and just cut the trim flush with the back of the closet door trim and cut it off at the back and slide that storage unit right into the corner of the closet.

Megan- I have never been able to figure out how much crap ends up under beds and sofas. Even under beds in my guest room I find stuff, and that room is hardly used. Beautiful room! The quilt is my favorite color. You could cut a piece out of the trim so the shelf will fit in that corner, but it would be easier to take the whole trim piece out, and put aside for when you’re ready to put it back. I was looking at the same bed for myself, just got to go back and click the buy button!
