Rifle Match wasn't too bad. Im about to head out pretty soon. Going to start all the way back at the beginning with CCI seeing that I never shot anything much better. I will also do Pistol and Rifle Match today!

Great video! I'll say this about my most recent experience with ammo, and lot testing. I was shooting at the range and another precision 22 shooter who told me he had 5 different lots of the SK Standard + that I could lot test against the 3 lots I already had. A few days later we met up at the range and I tested all 8 lots against one another. One of them shot lights out, bug holes consistently. He said I'll sell you 2 bricks of that lot I have at home for 50 bucks... it doesn't shoot well through my rifle at all so I don't need it. so I now have about a brick and a half of great shooting SK ST +. Point is that I used to think lot testing was BS... now I see the reality of it.

@Grumpyseabee22 oh yeah I have no doubt that lot testing is good. I just can't afford it 😪 I have to go with what I get lol If I was making money doing this? I would do it for sure. Nice on you ammo experience and getting a good lot. I sense some videos coming! 😉

@@CountryRimfire Do you have any ranges there that do PRS or NRL22 matches? Those guys will know where it's at. That's how I found out about the shop closest to me. It's about an hour away but it is the best place in my immediate area.

Not too bad for a bone stock rifle. There are some tricks to make these shoot better, but the filer issue is your barrel. It really doesn't matter what ammo you try, you will still get them, until you get a better barrel. Kidd for example. I'm wondering how Mike is doing with his new 10/22? He will learn the same thing with his rifle, even though his is a heavy barrel factory rifle. They just don't shoot like a Kidd barrel. Mine will put 10 shots of Federal Automatch into .3-.6".

@lmbear I got it to do a budget build. I never even expected it to shoot this well lol 😆 I had the Lapua for months as none of my other rifles shoot it very well. I just grabbed some one day goofing off and it's been spoiled ever since 😉 Yeah, I really like Mike's new one. The barrel would be easier to replace on his with that heavy barrel on his already. I would have to ream the stock out to make room. Can't wait to see what he does with his. I think I am almost finished with mine. I would like to keep it as budget as I can. I wish you did videos brother! You have a lot of nice firearms I would love to see! 😉

@@CountryRimfire Thanks buddy! Like I said before, I really like your rifle. Love the stock! I damned near bought one just like yours, except I think it had a 22" long barrel. Sweet looking rifle. Yours really isn't shooting bad. Keep trying different ammo too. I just bought a brick of Norma Match, as a lot of my rifles love that stuff. I wish I had the equipment to make some good videos too! I shoot a lot of these challenges with you guys though. My girlfriend has even done very well with her 10/22. That damn rifle is a sleeper. It has an 18" Green mountain barrel, and it almost shoots as well as my 10/22. I've been extremely impressed with that stainless receiver on my rifle, and of course the 20" Kidd barrel. That dang thing will put 5 into .1-.2" and 10 shots in the .3's. It's awesome for shooting Mr. Revolver guy's shoots/challenges. It usually scores right up there, even with the precision bolt actions, some of you guys use. I enjoy your videos! Keep them coming!!!

@lmbear Thanks, man!! 😉 That is super cool your wife shoots also. I bet that is super fun. Mine does also, just not near as much as me. I do my videos with a cheap Temu spotting scope with a phone adapter hooked to it. I record with a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, nothing really fancy. I use a cheap Amazon mic setup that hooks to that phone wireless. So without the phone, which is actually my personal phone also, the rest was under 100 beans. I do plan to get a camera of some sort soonish. But not a bad startup cost. Another thing if you're interested? My contact info is in my channel description. If you ever would like to show some of your stuff or targets, I would gladly do some videos of them showcasing some of your stuff and tag you so people could see.
