I too have a joystick handbrake since of today 😂. I modded it and united it with my wooden rig and works like a charm. The free buttons that you get with it is a great bonus 😅 I am gonna try to submit it and make the cut some day! Love these videos btw!

My setup is a PS2 and a Driving Force GT. I also have a PS3 and a PC but I primarily play PS2 racing games since I'm more into retro stuff, especially the Gran Turismo, Enthusia, Ferrari 355 Challenge and Tokyo Xtreme Racer series.

Hey OC, i am really stuck here: i am pretty invested in the thrustmaster ecosystem but i want to upgrade to a direct drive base. Should i bite the bullet, sell all my gear and go fanatec or wait for the thrustmaster Direct Drive base?

The age old question. Honestly… think about how you feel about your current TM gear and make the decision. For example, if you love your current wheel rims over fanatecs, waiting for the TM DD would be best. On the other hand, if you’re tired of your TM wheels, pedals, etc. and would like to experience something new, switch over!

I would wait, because if you are on Pc, within 6 months (end of 2022) you have a better choice in DD, as TM will reveal and sell the TM DD base by this year. After the reveal you can make a better decision to stay with TM or go with other brands

The creativity people use to "make it work" is ingenious. I know I have a few questionable "features" that will make you go "...hmmmmm" 🤔 😂 Eventually, I will submit my "function over form" /ghetto rig - I'm literally in the midst of a major home renovation, basically building a new house on new foundation. I might get a chance this week to snap some pics of the rig in its current state - which is a never ending work in progress, haha Cheers, 👍✌

your best bet is to buy a used t150/tmx (or possibly g27). just try it out to see if it works, and it's infinitely better than those wheels

The thrustmaster T80 Ferrari is god awful, It broke within a month (I played Beamng, drifted and rallied in it, carx, assetto, and dirt rally 2.0 on it) , and the 180 degrees of steering isn't helping, spend around 50 to 60 bucks more and get a t150 or tmx.
