Before we all tie the sound engineer to a burnstake with his/her own microphone cord, it should be noted that the voiceover is perfectly clear in the original broadcasts. Apparently something gets screwed up in the sound channels when they transfer to digital.

It's definitely misfiring. I can tell by the sound it's making that a whole side of cylinders is probably misfiring, thus one of the reasons why the power is so low.

The Maserati sounds like a cement mixer. All those supercars are very stylish, very good looking and would look very good on bedroom wall posters. In good condition, the value of the Ferrari, the Maserati and the Lamborghini will have most definitely gone up since then. The best part of 40 grand, possibly more. 3 sub-10 grand supercars back then were at best, 3 restoration projects.

Because we still use imperial measures for distances (yards and miles) and fuel economy is still given in MPG, although you may have noticed that the petrol is sold and priced in litres- only milk, beer and cider is sold in pints. TVs and PC monitors are still sized in inches and we still use imperial measures for clothes and shoe sizes amongst several other things. The UK is very far from being all-metric.

To everyone complaining about the quality of the sound editing on these clips, I think what you're hearing here is the consequence of a mistake made when they were digitised for KZbin from the original tape. The master tape would have had 2 separate stereo soundtracks on it: the main TX mix on tracks 1 and 2, and the mix-minus-voiceover on 3 and 4. Combine these by accident and the result is that everything except the V/O is far too loud. It's not just the music.

I could've done the oil change and the plugs in about 15, the majority of the time changing the plugs, oil changes don't take to long, five minutes maximum, for an oil change, that includes replacing the filter.
