I think this video was determined to be "too serious" for the main channel, which has slowly devolved into Donut Media-style algorithm-chasing videos. I half expect them to do a "WISH/ALI EXPRESS/TEMU TOOLS VS BRITISH TOOLS CHALLENGE" at some point.

Brilliant! What i love about Richard hes not afraid or too proud to ask for help, hes asked Ben for tuition to help him and i think thats great. I very much enjoyed this and the conversation afterwards. Very interesting listening to Richard regarding his previous concern for looking cool for the camera and now focusing on "proper" driving as in getting around a track quickly and smoothly, not so much fast. E9. What a creation.

Ben is becoming a very good presenter, but he needs to learn from Richard about pace of delivery because sometimes he speaks too fast. His introduction was excellent to be fair.

I agree. He just needs a little more polish and he’d be great. It’s the kind of perturbed look on his face at times. Last year I ran into Smith and Sniff, and while I was talking with them, Ben was in the electric MG little race car thing. And Johnny and Richard were yelling loudly over towards Ben. “do not smile… Do… Not… Smile! “It was cracking me up. They all get along spectacular.

I always loved the 3 boys doing their TV thing, but, I do know very well what it takes to get a car fast around the track. It's not as easy as most might think. The difference between making a car look fast on camera is inherently different than actually making a car go fast. You Ben have always been my biggest hero when you played The Stig. You're a very talented racing driver and even a very charismatic TV personality outside of the white suit and helmet.

There was and is only one Stig to me and that's Ben. He is the only Stig that had a personality. It was disappointing to me when he was not in a episode. To me he is a big part of the 3's, TG team succes. TopGear of old, thank you very much.

Insane how we're only discovering Ben's talent as a presenter now in 2020-s, Clarkson and Willman were like "aye let's shut him up", WHAT WERE THEY THINKING Edit: I'm fully aware that he's not the first (nor last) Stig, I knew they they needed a silent driver, I'm just imagining the kind of banter he could've had on screen. Afaik he's from the same school as Willman and Clarkson, so they'd get along very well

It’s kind of the last laugh who’s still standing that I watch in things about actual cars I mean actually watching things about cars. Ben is. And he’s the most normal of the three. He’s just a regular guy. Doesn’t have odd centricity or very stunted growth either. But he does need to smile a little bit more.

To be honest, there are videos around of him doing normal presenting from when he was the Stig and he was pretty dire. Just as Richard has learnt about proper driving, Ben has become a far more proficient presenter in the last few years or so.
