i Generally buy Xiaomi. Bought few of them over 10 years. I don't need anything except heart rate monitor though. I found that the more expensive device it, the more phone-like it is and as a result battery life goes drastically down. Good examples are Samsung watch or the one from Apple. As i understand they last about 2 days which is fine for a phone but i don't want to charge my watch so often. While mi band 8 (last thing i bought) lasts about 2 weeks. Funny i saw video of someone measuring heartbeat of sausage using apple watch. I checked and it did measure, while mi band didn't (i checked both myself, didn't just believe the video). Results of both trackers aren't too precise but at least for me Mi band was better. From this video i would pick Redmi Watch 3 Active. But considering the same price i did choose bi band 8 as screen size isn't a deal breaker in this case and speaker and microphone are useless. Lets be honest, maybe we try it once and talk with bad quality of sound just to try it out but in 99,9% of situations we are gonna use our phones which we have with us anyway.

That's the advantage of having amoled display, you can save more power with it because the dark parts or black are actually the individual led that has turned off on the background, unlike the LCD w/c is still lighting the idividual diodes just making it dimmer but still it powered in the background although you can say, it has a deeper black as well... I do have my Huawei band8 & works perfectly as i've expected, light weight w/ c makes you feel like your not wearing a watch you almost forget you are actually wearing one😂

Very nice comparison. I have a Huawei Band 6 and was thinking of an upgrade. From my research Band 8 advantage was on the AOD. But for my upgrade I'll get the Xiaomi. Thanks again

Hi man nice review ! Can you test the calling quality and the range ? Can you store music on the watch and control music from it ? How well it works with iphone and ios ? I live in Romania and here there is only Redmi Watch 3 and 3 Active for the moment but the new version 4 not.

I wanted one for sleep only and I didn't like the Huawei app bc I had to put my finger on the graph to see the hour at only that point and it was an unnecessary hurdle to get the exact time I went to sleep and woke up, whereas on Redmi it's displayed clearly on the watch itself. I didn't like a big watch, but it won me over with its convenience.

Hey you made a really cool job with putting these two head to head. Because these two smartwatches are the usually the ones that go on sale at the same time. Tomorrow is 11.11 sale.
