Budget With Me | October Paycheck #1 | Zero Based Budget

Hello everyone! Thank you for tuning into this week’s budget. When I first started this channel we were budgeting bi-weekly with our exact paycheck amounts. Currently, we are switching up how we budget. We’re still living by a zero based budget; meaning we give every dollar a purpose but we’re going to be budgeting weekly. This means our budget doesn’t necessarily reflect our paycheck; more so an allotted budget for the week with rollover cash if needed. Our pay has not changed; just how we budget. This will allow us to cash stuff weekly! If we like it, we’ll stick to it. If not, we’ll revert back to bi-weekly budgets. 🤗

Are you realistically not spending anything on household for this budget period? If so, it all makes sense but you might end up just charging those expenses on your card and then invading your savings to pay the card off.

Hey @@annj96 ! Our variable expenses are not really tracked on a weekly basis. They vary weekly but stay within budget for the month. We do tend to overspend in dining out but it’s a category we are aware of and are currently working to improve on.
