You can usually swap the hinge sides on those fridges. Would be much more usable if the doors opened the other way. 👍🏻

I came to make the same comment. Also a little quarter round tacked to the bottom of the cabinets will hide those paint bleeds on the new floor.

How did you find the “totaled”trailer deal?
@user-ny9po2lm1x26 күн бұрын
Heck yeah! Getting a donor is better than buying all the pieces separately. I converted a 6V beetle to 12V using a trashed donor beetle I got for $150. I sold parts off it and sold what was left to the junkyard. I actually made money off that deal

I just bought a 1986 ford Travelcraft RV. And am starting to do the same thing. I’m definitely gonna need a new roof but I’m just ripping all the interior out. I’m keeping the fridge, stove, bathtub and 2 sinks. But other than that everything else is coming out. I didn’t even think about wrecked campers. That’s smart for the materials you reused! I’ll keep that in mind!

I haven't been subscribed to the channel for long, but after stumbling across you guys after watching Vice Grip Garage, Dylan McCool Junkyard Digs etc, you guys are quickly becoming the favourite. What you do with all of the old cars you rescue is amazing. How you just use what you have is brilliant. In the UK we just don't seem to have access to the 70s and 80s cars of my youth as they are out of reach for most people on pricing. The way you guys are so informative and also so humble in your approach to fixing these forgotten gems is such a breath of fresh air. Getting the whole family involved as well is a joy to see. Thank you fellas for doing this and putting out these great videos.

You missed adding a storage cabinet above the closet where you put the solar controller. Where the fridge was originally in the motorhome put in a large heavy duty pull out drawer that opens into the entry way floor space to securely hold a portable 12 volt chest fridge/freezer. You can remove to use outdoors or indoors so the kids can get something cold without having to come into the motorhome. Better than just a cooler and you can make ice in it too!
