I am a widow with a very limited pension, but thanks to our savings, I add to my pension and I have a very good life. If I don't have the cash, I don't buy it, so no debts at all. I only keep one bank card, to keep a record, but I pay it at the end of the month. Sooo, no debts, I cannot sleep if I owe money. I am an old school grandmother.

Well, this might not sound like a win, but I consider it one...I’ve been debt free three years; I’m currently in BS 6. But my win is this...I was recently hospitalized. I have made a full recovery but I think my health was vastly helped because the whole time I was in the hospital and later in recovery I wasn’t worried about the bills. I knew I had the full amount of my deductible and out of pocket maximum saved in my BS 3 account so I was able to concentrate on just my health and doing what I needed to do. I have to pause BS 6 to rebuild it but I’m healthy and still in good shape financially after a huge crisis so I call that a win! 😊😊

Sarah, I am only half way thru the video and put it on pause because I want to comment on several points. First off, Sarah you have my upmost respect on the way you handled the pay raise you got. It was a very wise move. Secondly, I am happy for you that you found such good quality dishes for $11. If you love them, use them. Down the road you could sell them at a profit should you find a set of dishes you like even better. It is a win win situation. Now, about you raincoat-- If you had not revealed that you patched it, I would have just thought it was the company's logo.

I made my last student loan payment at the end of November. That was the end of $56K in student debt, $24K of it paid in the last 15 months. I'm not debt free yet but I'm on track to pay off my car - my last debt - in about nine months. Less if I can make some extra income.

When it comes to vintage plates and such I find a lot of people just collect that to put them on display and never actually use them. So I would most definitely keep them and actually use them. Yeah they can be passed down and all but who's to say the future owners will actually want them? Someone might as well get use out of them! As for flossing, get those Reach (or I think the name may have been changed to just plain Listerine) floss sticks or handles or whatever they're called! I just keep it with my toothbrush and its soo easy to just grab it with my toothbrush and make it a daily habit. Plus they have replaceable heads with the floss so you dont have to deal with ripping off floss and throwing it out every time.
