*YES TO THIS SERIES!!* 💃 It feels like there was a moment that she didn't want to *"allow herself to feel excited"* 😥 until someone, in this case Aja, almost *"gave permission"* to be excited / encouraged it. I 💯 get that and glad to see that moment.🧡

Aja, you are a phenomenal individual. Not only are you passionate and a badass business woman but you are also a compassionate person who is willing to lift others up. It is hard to find an influencer who embodies your qualities. Your debt free journey has inspired me to get my shit in order. It wasn’t easy but I now have a fully funded emergency fund and no debt (FEELS SO LIBERATING). The next step in my journey is applying the idea of sinking funds. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I can’t wait to purchase your planner and see more of this series. And congratulations Jenny! So inspiring to hear your story and see your progress.

I’ve always loved your monthly budget series and this video (as well as your others) is so insightful!! My boyfriend and I have started a small coffee and baked goods business online here in the Philippines. We’ve managed to balance it with our studies, we’re both fourth year medical students!! Learning about budgeting and handling our finances has helped us grow better together and save up for future plans 🙏🏼

This is basically showing me that I need to clean up my accounts, haha. Thank you so much for this video!

Aja I know this series is for budgeting purposes only but it would be kind of cool if people with small businesses like Jenny could talk a little more about their business (like a quick minute) as a quick advertisement. A lot of us would prefer to get services from local businesses and it would be nice to get that info from here.

I was looking forward to this series ever since you mentioned it, but I didn't know that this video was the first of many in this series until I clicked on it (I love watching all of your videos!). One suggestion is to title it something like: "Budgeting with Aja" or something straightforward. Out of curiosity, you mentioned MSTRPLN is the name of your soon-to-be planner, but what does it stand for? Super grateful for this series and excited to see more videos. Thanks Aja!
@AjaDang4 жыл бұрын
MSTRPLN (Master Plan) stands for My Strategy To Reality. My planner and my budget hold the keys to all my goals - essentially it's the master plan for my life! also, if we're honest - it was name #1923872938 on the list bc everything else was taken but I love it. The spelling is unique enough to where I was able to get a domain name but it fits right in with the goal of the planner and this series.

Hats off to you Aja for doing this. I love your heart for helping others. My one bit of constructive criticism would be for those who are receiving the help. Could Jenny really find no other time to be with Aja aside from when she was driving? Or when her kid was at the playground? Or when she was in an elevator? I get that she's busy, but if Aja is willing to invest this time and provide this valuable assistance--at no expense to the person receiving it, then the least anyone could do is carve out a few minutes and give Aja your full attention. Maybe there's more to the picture that I'm missing. Not knocking on you at all Aja, love what you're doing!

Start off by going through your bank statements & figure out how much you spend per category (groceries, fast food, gas etc) until then is when you’ll be able to create a realistic budget. I get some free budget pages from the budget mom website that have helped me along with Aja’s videos.
