When I first saw your hedges in a previous video I doesn't like them but now that you've done that it does look really good

I've made an updated version of this by: - Cutting ~1/2 inch length of sisal rope and separating it into individual fibres. - putting glue on the foam and scattering the fibres over it - painting this all brown (it then becomes a bare hedge with some twigss) - spraying glue on it - scattering the bare hedge with a mixture of lighter and darker green scatter material. The finished product looks like an unkempt hedge with twigs sticking out that need trimming.

Great tip. I've just discovered your videos and they're excellent; I've been watching loads of them. I will definitely be using some of your ideas on my layout. I noticed in one of your videos you had a ruler with "Brecon Cathedral" on it. I live just a few yards up the road from there.

I just paint a sponge green. I also paint a sponge to make a rock wall. I also cut sponges and paint or glue a layer of rocks or coal to fill a wagon... Sponges are handy too...

Hi. I havnt got through all your videos yet so not sure if you have covered it yet. A cheap way to make scatter or folage etc. Get an oldish food blender. The inside of a teddy bear. Blend the stuffing to how you want it then mix it with different greens. Looks pretty good

Hi John, love the idea thanks for sharing. Mind you I think I might buy the stuffing, not sue I could deal with the emotional trauma of dis embowelling a teddy bear?,
