I really enjoy your content but I have a small suggestion. The music is fine when your kind of just working but when you have something to say the music makes it hard to hear. And the sound level is not consistent. You’re doing solid work on these bikes and when you have something to say we want to hear it. You’re actually an inspiration for a road king I did this summer. Not down to the frame like you do. But more than I’d have done if I didn’t see your stuff.

do not block off the breather with a valve after it gets riden a little it will stop leaking evos and shovels do not like to sit for a long time sounds grate looks grate thanks for the video

Shovelheads are kind of special to me maybe because that's the bike selling when I came of age . Had one but sold it before I ever got it together.... I do miss my old Ironhead though that was my first Harley

I use inner tube screw down the lid use a knife cut around the lid leaving a little bit works great brake fluid don't break it down like the old one

I own a 1980 flh since 1988 love that bike been all over with it learned a lot about it over the years I like it better than my twin can it just getting to hard to kick as it is a kick only bike just my opinion but I would leave it like it was and enjoy the ride

Love your content on bike rebuilds but with music playing while your talking it’s impossible to understand you without turning up volume. Then when music kicks in again it’s way to loud. Hopefully you’ll get that fixed once again love the bike rebuilds

I wonder if driving up on a small wooden platform (say 1-inch off ground) would raise the rear end up sightly enough to get the air bubbles to drift upwards towards the rear bleeder valve... I had this trouble too bleeding my '06 Fat Boy. The back brake still feels spongy. I even used the same bleeder tool you used but couldn't get it to work and had to bleed it the old way.

I have a 79 shovelhead I’m getting rebuilt completely from the floor up, bunch of people say I’m throwing my money away building a “troubled head” now understanding it’s a older bike I don’t mind wrenching but is it as bad as they say ??

Good video but your audio is all over the map. Sometimes it's hardly Audible and sometimes it's blasting. That's the only thing that I would try to change is get that audio all balanced out a little bit

What ever you do don't put a tap on your oil line.....as if you have ever forgot to turn your petcock on huh,??? Put a pcv valve on the breather hose and run the hose up over the oil tank and down to your rear chain..,.....ditch the inline fuel filter it's gonna give you a headache.....happy riding

Soap and water wash on that headlight back-plate would have helped before you put polish on. So you just polished more dirt into the finish, unless that was your intention -going after the vintage look?....:-)

Had the fairing on because that headlight nachell is not stock .. Should have the freight train nachell on it .. The more parts you pull off the more the value drops ..
