I wish "Earnest Productions" didn't appear on the screen when the video is about to end, because that tells me the match is about to end and the rally I'm watching is the last. I'd rather not know that, if rather be surprised. Otherwise, great videos, all of them, and thanks for uploading.

can you explain what kind of scoring system is that?... how can they make a point and it still says 21:21..

When someone reaches 20 (match point) you can only score when you are serving. AVP calls it freeze scoring.

Ivan Dodlek in the old days all games were played to 15 with scoring like you see with the freeze the whole game from 0-0. We called this “SideOut Scoring.” Good games could take 2 to 3 hours or more and this created a problem for broadcast TV and growing the sport’s visibility . So they moved to “Rally Scoring with a point scored every serve no matter what. They also made the court smaller and made antennas standard. All to fit a match into 60 minutes minus commercials. But is so lame to have a great match end on say a “Let Serve” that AVP adopted “The Freeze and it seems very well received. I hope The FIVB adopts god are their matches boring

Ivan Dodlek watch my Crabb/Gibb vs. Casebeer/Priddy match. It is insane and really shows was the freeze can do for a match. Enjoy

Chase seems easy to tool in this one. Partain will be a great one

I noticed the same exact thing. It’s because he’s jumping to late on the block. He needs to leave before the hitter does.

Chase’s block timing is excruciating to watch 😖. If he would jump a second sooner he wouldn’t get tooled so frequently and the blocks he does get would deflect down more often. Otherwise, he’s a pretty good player.

The only thing is that the Partain kid needs to put the ball away if he is going to go over on 2 that often. I wouldnt be happy as his partner if i gave him a dime pass and im siding out at a high rate and he is hitting easy loop shots on 2 that are getting picked up no problem. Dude needs to get more explosive
