I thought Intentional Grounding was called if the QB was 1) In the Pocket 2) The ball is Incomplete 3) The Incompletion is behind the Line of Scrimmage 4) No Eligible Receiver is in the plausible vicinity That singular angle made it look like this pass went well-beyond the LoS, so how the hell did they call this IG?
@bobishumin4853 Жыл бұрын
all of those elements dont have to be present and the LOS part doesnt matter if the ball goes out to the side of the field like the josh allen pass
@novanator3355 Жыл бұрын
the parts that should matter about the rule and were clearly ruled wrong by the officials 1) allen was under no duress, he threw that in a clean pocket 2) where was the ball when davis breaks on his route... in the air over his head...which would constitute it not being grounding, Mcauly mentions that then, like the hack he is, backtracks it and tries to interpret it so the officials can sound right, and then collinsworth does the "well, im not gonna out you on national tv, but... C'mon"
