For non-baseball fans, the first clip is Bartolo “Big Sexy” Colon, he was a pitcher and that was his only homerun he has ever hit in his 15 year-long career. And he was in his early 40’s too

11:10 Larry Allen. I met him a few times in the early 90's when I was going to Chico State and he was at Butte College. I watched him play and he was just an amazing athlete. Ran 4.8 40 with ease and was faster than linebackers. Strong? Unbelievably strong. World class strength. And a nice guy to boot.

Even as a kid, I liked seeing monstrous defensive linemen pick up a fumble or grab an interception/tipped ball and waddle in for a touchdown. It's got to be one of the high points of their year. They do this critical, but thankless job, then suddenly, they're a star :-) Their joy just overflows and you can see by the look on their face, they're over the moon. They won't let go of the ball or give it to a ref either... "Mine!"

Bob Donald, it’s not that a pro player hit a home run. It’s Bartolo Colon that did it. He’s a pitcher who had never hit one, a big guy who is a fun player to watch. He loves the game and the fans love him back. It was a fun moment.

Honestly all these plays warm my heart as an ex (high school) linemen but the best play on here has to be Larry Allen Chasing down the INT by Darrion Connor. That is some serious dedication by Larry. Not often can you evaluate heart of a player by the tape but that play definitely says a lot about him.

And a lesson learned for Zeke Elliot (also a Cowboy) who got roasted for just standing there after a pick on a pass thrown to him. Peter King roasted him in his MMQB column the following Monday. I also sent Pete a letter with a link to a KZbin video (a different one) showing the Larry Allen play. He used it in his column on Tuesday. Thanks much Pete!
