is there training done at a more realistic speed /resistance scenario at some point? I am no tough street fighter, but I have been in at least a few real fights and also seen quite a lot of them and always things don't happen like this, It's chaos and everything happens really fast. People don't just attack in a certain way following martial arts protocol or stand there without moving and give you time to react and apply all the moves and steps appropriately as seen here. I get it that it is a demonstration, bit so far all the videos I have seen are like these, and therefore my initial question.I am really looking forward to adopt this art but that really concerns me to see black belts still training like this very choreographed. Don't mean any disrespect , just concerned as a new practitioner. I'm sure there are things I don't know about ninja training and that's why I ask

Ok, let me offer an explanation. So like you said this is a demonstration meaning it is training focused mostly on understanding the movement that our teachers offer. Plus many people you see here only come for a few weeks to Japan to study old and new stuff, learn more, and improve. Once they go back home - they will train in their respective dojos and that's where they can repeat it, adopt it, play with it, and understand it better. You are right that this type of training is usually not enough to get you ready for the chaos of the street - but that's up to the individuals themselves to practice. Many places will have different types of drills and exercises to introduce that chaos element as well as some randori - sparring where they will introduce resistance. But again that is up to the individuals to work on and practice. What you see here is a study of martial arts, and human movement and psyche :)

That's a great question. Yes these techniques can be modified for real time situations and training. While I am not Bujinkan / Genbukan (I was back in the late 80's, early 90's), I have used and modified their techniques to work in applicable situations. If you first learn the techniques, then work with combinations at faster speed, you will see what applications work and those that dont. Then put on light padding and practice like sport Jujitsu. (NOT BJJ) You will get a sense of reality. Just ensure that you are slightly modifying your techniques for safety when working closer to full speed. Hope this helps. Train hard and stay safe💮

Why don't ninjas wear mask during Covid19 pandemics? Special kuji in powers?
@computron808
@computron808 3 жыл бұрын
You mean plandemic? And the “virus “ that hasn’t been isolated ,yet in the lab. We have a cdc that publicly stated,even if the person had multiple comorbidities and died from another cause and the patient died from another cause,but they tested positive for convid. It’s marked as a convid death. Now the tests have proven to be inaccurate,they’ve been known to give false positives. So In other words. You can’t trust these highly inflated,infection n death rates. If you’re a healthy person. It has a high survival rate.

@@playfulsteps9249 Well they are taking it a bit differently in Japan than the States ofc. And yes, we do have some special powers as well :) But the main reason they're not wearing a mask here is that this was shot before the pandemic and the shutdowns. Our Hombu dojo (that you see in the video) was closed in March until the pandemic passes. But it's cool people like Daishihan Roemke that make the pandemic a bit more fun by sharing their awesome videos with us. Thanks for that!
