So we'll potentially see Vegito, Gogeta (Super) [SSJ/SSJB] and Gogeta (GT) [SSJ/SSJ4] as the fusions. Also holding out hope we get some gag and joke characters like Veku (Fat failed fusion) or Gota (Skinny failed fusion)

Another thing about the trailer is Trunks when he helps Goten. Cause in the animation, he is seen using the Kamehamaha. I feel like that is a little nod too Bio-Broly. Cause that's the only time we ever see Trunks use the Kamehameha. Meaning they might adapt stuff from the movies as well. I went back into the Fused Warriors Trailer and looked into the background. Their are people/spectators in background watching in the trailer 0:40 right before the fused. It might mean we've might have 2 separate world tournament maps, 1st for being destructive/destroyed by the player, and the 2nd might be tournament mode with spectators watching.

The reason Vegetto is named normally while Gogeta has the (Super) in his name is because Super Vegetto only has the Buuhan fight to make a moveset about, so he can be put in the same slot as Vegetto Blue just fine. Gogeta has Super Gogeta and SUPER SAIYAN Gogeta (Super), and they will be only available to the correct version of Goku & Vegeta (Gogeta Super for DBS Goku & Vegeta, Super Gogeta for Buu Saga Goku & Vegeta)

I hope Z SSJ Gogeta will be in this game because of his different design compared to Super SSJ Gogeta, and his rush attack on Super Janemba followed up by Stardust Breaker/Soul Punisher that is executed much differently in Z compared to Super (Z Gogeta crushes the attack in his hands before throwing it, but Super Gogeta doesn’t). Separating Z Gogeta and Super Gogeta would be consistent to the standard of BT3, and it would heighten this game’s charm.

@@lancekemal8989 Well Z Vegito and Super Vegito look exactly the same (no changes for the outfit, unlike Z Gogeta [orange pads] and Super Gogeta [yellow pads]), so I don’t think they’ll separate Z Vegito and Super Vegito, but the developers could program the game to lock Vegito Blue out of Z Goku End and Z Vegeta End’s ability to transform into Vegito. Basically when you play as Vegito, you wouldn’t be able to transform into SSB if you fuse with the Z counterparts of Goku and Vegeta. For Super Goku and Super Vegeta, you would be able to play as Base, SSJ, and SSB Vegito, but for Z Goku and Z Vegeta, you would only be able to play as Base and SSJ Vegito.

No parentheses to describe him being a variation, unlike Gogeta who is the Super version according to the website. Also, Vegito in Base and SSJ never fought in Dragon Ball Super (Base just shows up to introduce himself to Zamasu, and SSJ doesn’t even make a single appearance at all), so they can only pull moves from Z with those two forms. Since Z Vegito and Super Vegito have the same design, Z Base Vegito would be the exact same character as Super Base Vegito, and Z SSJ Vegito would be the exact same character as Super SSJ Vegito. By applying the variation system to Vegito, Z Base and SSJ Vegito and Super Base and SSJ Vegito would be literal clone characters. With Gogeta though, they can separate his SSJ form in Z from his SSJ form in Super because Z SSJ Gogeta performs an attack exclusive to himself that Super SSJ Gogeta doesn’t have. Not even Super Base Gogeta and Super SSB Gogeta performs the exact same attack Z SSJ Gogeta does.

It's possible that the stage destruction on the world tournament stage you pointed out could lead to it turning into the destroyed version from the 23rd World Tournament. As for kale transforming mid-beam, it could just be done for the trailer or is a team ultimate and the animation continues after you win the clash.

Gogeta (Fusion reborn) might still be in the game, consider he's the combination of Goku (Z) and Vegeta (Z). Other will be Gogeta (Super) which have shown in the trailer, Vegito may have 2 variations as well. But that is just my guess.

Something to note is that in the Raging Blast games we had team attacks like the full-nelson special beam canon which needed an extra button combo to be done during the attack's start up, and you were only ever given one chance. Trunks joining might be an evolution of that attack (as RB1/2 previously locked the Bros. Kamehameha behind the team attack function), and it would also explain away the Kame*kame*ha situation as only the super and not the ultimate was mispronounced. So this might be the ultimate attack instead, and a team attack upon connection. I'm guessing it wasn't a live beam clash but it would be cool if there was no trailer trickery and you're more right than me.
