❗️Damn near cried to see that Electra crash land without a right gear. Buffalo is the world’s most admired scrappy airline we all love. Over a million people watch this worldwide and we are the ultimate fans and cheerleaders. You folks made livings and persevered incredible and untenable odds by the accounts of many. You are the all stars. Thank you for sharing and being brave enough to save cherished aircraft’s. I have something important to share. I was watching a video of a DC3 in Columbia and the inflight vibration sound was rich. I had a Bose Bluetooth speaker with rich bass and turned it up a bit. When I put the speaker on a wood table, the entire table literally shook at the resonating frequency of the engines and aircraft and it was brilliantly amazing. It is a technique I gleaned from piano wooden soundboards. The wood amplifies the deep sounds and is an amazing life experience.

There should be a beeper sound for any kind of plane when you are using the flaps versus gear up or down. Landing without wheels should be impossible no matter what but what I just saw proved it is possible.

They made legends out of the DC3 and the Electra for flying in extreme cold northern temperatures forsure. What with planes orignating from the 1930 designs still operating 50 years after the company started in yellow knife. Same with whitehorse mind you probably not as cold as nwt winds.
