The portrayal of this family of pilots, Buffalo Joe’s family, and the passing of Arnie made you feel a glimpse of their lives. Tearful and happy. Loved it. Thank you

Joe's cockpit CRM worries me... That's a toxic attitude to have in the cockpit, leading to accidents because your co-pilot is afraid to speak up when he/she sees something they don't like.

I agree there has been meny accidents cos co pilots do feel they can speak up 😢

I’m trying to figure out his radio call on final… landing runway 123????? Only thing I can think of is he meant to say runway 14, but then switched to 23 (gravel runway) halfway through that thought

My father flew BAQ When it was RMA At Ansett airlines in the seventies . He and others flew it from Australia to the US For its freighter conversion. It’s great she still flying this many years later .. ❤

I'm gonna comment on this and I'm not a KZbin quarterback, I'm a pilot. he did a great job. Everything he should have done He did. the only thing I may have changed Was knowing that your right main gear is not coming down, Land towards the left hand side of the runway so that when the right-wing tip touches it's gonna veer right and off the runway.

I’m not a Religious woman but Ray bringing that plane in with a stuck wheel had me prayin’ & crying & prayin’ a whole lot more❤ W O W Ray is as upset about the plane’s damage as he’d be for a death.

Old planes need more maintenance, and more costs on a tight budget because the business isn't booming for them. Eventually, proper maintenance and repair jobs will be affected. Then an accident is just around the corner. You'd better believe it.

Joe is one of the reasons why plane accidents still occur due to CRM. The absolute lack of CRM, steep cockpit gradient, saying useless “tips” during takeoff. None of it was useful feedback and it only added to another thing that the PF has to divide his attention between during the takeoff. The PF probably went to school to fly that dinosaur, so let him fly. Something tells me that the reason why Joe is freezing himself in that icebox is because he doesn’t play well with others when they don’t consider him “gods gift to aviation” like he does.

With the gear failure, they should have cut the engines on the gear side before they hit the ground to cause less damage
@etjh0071
@etjh0071 Ай бұрын
Not necessarily. I can see how you came to that conclusion, but it would be safer to have some thrust, and thereby air rushing over the wing to generate lift and create a soft cushion before the gear touches down. The risk of a fan blade out event is planned out for by the aircraft manufacturer.

To pass an amendment it takes two-thirds of both houses, then ratified of three forth of the states. This is not an easy process but try telling that to a person who thinks that they know everything 💥🐬

Joe's a horrible captain. wants maintenance and ramp to be safe and go by the book but he himself is the biggest danger as soon as he's in the cockpit. not CRM being followed, everytihng has to be done his way and his way only. If he wasn't so far out he'd be out of a job faster than he says "I can fly this plane perfectly by myself". Literal boomer attitude. the rules don't apply to him because he's something better...

How does the FAA feel about them taking an engine off newly crashed airplane before they can even come investigate? Something smells with this series. Something smells fishy.

I wonder if they know they can fly the airplane… that it doesn’t need to be on a ship. Flying is much easier and quicker. That’s what those wings are for.

That's a tanker for fire fighting. It'd need several legs to transport it by just flying, and it would cost more overall after factoring food, fuel, and sleeping arrangements.
