A loss like this is never easy to take. I’ve been a Bills fan for 37 years now. This team had more of “What it Takes,” than any other under McDermott. McDermott had his best year coaching in 2024 and he did a solid job in this one. We have a lot of young guys out there and maybe nerves were a bit of an issue. We just needed to put it away earlier so scoring moments weren’t left in the hands of those not on our team. Coach McDermott and the team did a stellar job this season despite the pain of this one.

I think they take steps backwards from here on out. This was the year. They were healthy. I don’t believe they’ll comeback from this fourth playoff defeat to the Chiefs. Just like the Super Bowl teams that went to 4 in a row was never the same again. You can't expect to get an inch , let alone a yard , when the defense knows the play you're going to run , also they turned Allen into a pocket passer for the BIGGEST GAME of their lives and you could see how uncomfortable he was in that role . I poured my heart into this season thinking after the drop by andrews, we finally got some luck on our side. Alas talent beats luck and as much as i hate to admit it, kc is a better coached team on both sides of the ball. We have the talent to match KC but not making the right decisions in big moments. Im accepting that we will never beat KC until either Andy or Spag retires.

Perfect example: We have 4th and 5, Spags dials up a weird pressure that we don't expect and don't connect because they get 3 guys through. They have 3rd and 8 the next drive, literally a must stop or game over, we dial up a vanilla man coverage, no extra pressure, and Mahomes hits a wide open guy for the first down. Last week we won because we were sending pressure at Lamar all first half. Something on this coaching staff has to change. Having to rely on our front 4 to get pressure because we never blitz only works if we invest in the front 4. Either we need to invest heavy draft/salary capital into a dline or we need a change in defensive coaching ideology.

I could accept this more if it wasn't doing the same things that don't work. We seemed to get way too conservative with a 1 point lead. The qb sneak after it got stopped 5 times in a row. The defensive philosophy has gotten worse every year and no major changes. This whole rotating def lines doesn't seem to be working. It's always not enough pressure and receivers running wide open in the back end. Yet no changes get made from year to year.

Firing McDermott is not the answer. He brings stability to the organization, I’ve been a bills fan since 1989…. They definitely need to get bigger on the offensive line and the defensive line, and they’re still missing that knockout player on both sides of the ball and today it showed how DB position got exploited. You still have a defensive and offensive coordinator that have time to grow and learn on how to call plays during big games, The organization needs Sean, Brandon and Josh to continue this hunt to get back to a Super Bowl

@@indiasupportstrumpwwg1wga927 The difference is Brady never ran, he didn’t take hits at all hardly. Allen is a dual threat QB, look at Big Ben. Look at Rodgers. Look at Cam Newton. They get old quick, especially when they rush a lot. Allen will likely have until he’s about 35 before he begins to taper off, that’s not a lot of time

Football is a spectator sport that brings joy and pride as well as sadness. I've had a lot of fun watching the Bills. I've had a lot of pride watching the Bills. My sadness is not for myself but for the team because they have worked so very hard. Just know I'm so so proud of our team and I want to thank ALL of them for giving me so much to look forward to. Don't forget we beat them once this season and to me that was just as exciting as winning a Superbowl. Lastly, I hope the Eagles shut them down BIGTIME! 😊

No questions about why they didn't continue with the winning run game that tied the game for them when they had a full 4+ minutes left to do something with it? It was the playcalling that lost them this game, if you don't blame the refs already. Their last drive pretty much was exactly the same as their first drive-- both playcalling failures.

I truly think A LOT needs to change in the offseason. I can't take the playoff choking anymore. Our defense needs A LOT of restructuring, and once again its disappointing to see Josh's talent wasted once again. We need to not only rely on certain players to help win the game(we should've been able to win without Rapp and Benford). No excuses at all, and getting over the hump? It's been 8 years since Mcdermott was hired for HC, and still no superbowl appearance. I'm so frustrated beyond belief.
