I'm sorry, but I don't remember. I'm guessing south just by where the sun rose. It was an amazing experience. Bring layers as it was chilly in the morning but then it got so warm that the kids were fighting over my shadow! Have fun!

Don't go on the vans that advertise they will take you there because I did that with a group of my friends 9 total and did not get picked up and the group was split up for the whole round up! Take your own car you will be better off! I did get a refund from the van pick up company but it ruined my day for the round up since I was the one who banned it! Needless to say it was a nightmare!

Wow! How disappointing! I'm sorry that happened to you! We stayed at a motel in Custer, and got up VERY early thinking we would be near the front of the line, no matter anyway, plenty of seating and parking. We were overdressed though, it ended up being very hot and my kids were fighting over who was going sit in my shadow!
