Coleman has some distractions that he needs to fix ASAP or it will be a short career. His cousin and homies are bad for strong character building, Buffalo is a MUCH more disciplined, winning and family oriented culture. Cooper will definitely be a huge help, athletic ability and IQ have to work together in the NFL, especially with a high IQ QB. Nothing says I am not paying attention like getting hit in the earhole with a perfect pass.

And Tasker had even more Pro Bowls than Amari Cooper has had !!! I know it's apples and oranges, yet it goes to show just how good Steve was conference and league-wide in his primary role as the AFC Special Teams ace (he was also a 4th string WR who also started a few Bills games as the #2 or #3 WR due to injuries). He even won the MVP of one of his Pro Bowls !!! It's a crime that Steve Tasker isn't yet in the HoF as a Special Teams ace -- he did it all: punt team gunner, kickoff gunner, punt returner, kick returner, punt blocker, FG attempt blocker, and FG attempt holder ... and he was GREAT in ALL of those ST roles.

Brandon Beane made the move NOW for Cooper because he learned the bitter lesson of "delaying" and having NOT gone after Von Miller several years ago when he was the difference maker in helping the Rams win the SB. No shame in making a prior mistake; the shame would be in failing to learn from it.

MANY GOOD things about this trade -- both for this year, as well as for teaching our younger receivers. The only thing I'm less happy about giving up a 3rd round pick for Cooper (unlike parting with a 3rd round pick last year for Rasoul Douglas) is that we only have Amari for the remainder of this year before he becomes a free agent. At least in Rasoul's case, we were acquiring a veteran CB who had another year remaining on his contract in exchange for that 3rd round pick. Ideally, if Amari Cooper works out well for the Bills, he would be willing to sign a new 2-3 year contract and remain in Buffalo. That would provide theBills the opportunity to groom a new young crop of FAST receivers over the next 2 drafts while having AC as a mentor to them as well.

What changes? As of two days ago per McDermott, “We’ll get him caught up to speed and see where fits.” You brought him up to speed in two days and have a full-fledged can’t fail plan in 48 hours? Ok. I expect Cooper to have the most snaps of any WR on the roster, 6 catches, 90 yards, and a TD on Sunday. Otherwise, they’re full of it.

Kincaid and Shakir will go back to where they belong and thrive. last year say what you want about Diggs, he was on the field and commanded coverage, or he will tear you up. Cooper is all that.
