Rob Cantor posted this song on soundcloud, and a random tumble user found it and made it go viral. It got a fan animation and has like 3 million views, but the original song stopped right after he stabbed his kidneys. For this live action musical they added the second half of the song as a surprise. Everything after “Shia surprise” was new

I see that y'all did your research on this video. Yes, this song and video was all Rob Cantor's doing. Shia agreed to appear in it. Speaking as one of the singers in the chorus, it was a lot of fun to do it.

He didnt do this. The composer Rob Cantor arrange the entire production Shia stayed in the audience by himself the whole day while recording

I hadn't heard that Shayla paid for this but there is an earlier cartoon version done by Rob Cantor
