You did forgotten most important thing that Accel lock on enemy until it die, so for example he will target Soul Stealer and souls will go into base, and you will die, but Engi doesn't lock on the enemy, so when Soul Stealer will spawn souls, all sentry will target these souls, saving your game.

Engineer and Accel together would be deadly. Engineer is good for the early, mid, and late game with rockets that do good splash damage. Accel shreds bosses and has early hidden detection. 2 of them in the same game would be too overpowered.

Also dont forget engineer can be used all throughout the game and has flying detection and better targeting like if Accel focuses on like a giant boss for eg a glitch could pass through and end your run miserably and also engineer having stun immune (basically) because sentry has shield only decreasing engineer's total dps by 91 which is still more than a buffed accel

Engineer is still better that accel even with damage flag which can increase accel’s damage to around 60ish and the cooldown flag can stack with commander’s ability so yes they are both evenly matched I think the damage flag is 20% I believe let me check. Edit: it’s 40% not 20% so that means engineer’s damage goes up to 84 damage which is a huge increase in dps so engineer is better and more worth it welp time to spend 3 months grinding for it. 😔

Okay, but I thought engineer was supposed to be a jack of all trades? That doesn’t mean it should be as good as a sub DPS, but rather, it should be a viable option when compared to other main DPS towers. The engineer before this buff was probably the most balanced. It could shred crowds, but there were definitely better options for bosses. In addition, while it had lead detection, flying detection, & hidden detection, it didn’t exactly specialize in any of them, making the tower more balanced. The partial stun immunity was also balanced. The current engineer is just too OP, and makes me wonder if they’re really trying to balance the game.

I love how the engineer cost 4500 gems and the accel cost 2500 and are almost the same at final.i hate the accel but the engi is other thing you need to farm more than 20 hours to have the tower and the differences between a 2500 and 4500 gems tower is insignificant maybe in mid a early game is much better the engi but for that you can go with another tower like the pyromancer which supports a lot and can easily kill everything until wawe 15 in fallen(ugprading it).

They are not almost the same lol engineer is so much better. It's more reliable against any enemies now, and does more damage. For accel to get close to engineer it needs commander buffs. Also engineers turrets have a shield to block stun. Engineer>accelerator in every way.

@@LJ_Lmao you are skipping the fact that to have the tower you need more than 20 hours to unlock the tower,that fact immediately kills the advantages of the tower In this case comparing the accel will be 10 hours more but including the comparison is insane the amount to time unlock skipping the fact that is level capped to,to compensate the "lack" of power of the accel you can easily bring other towers to support it or do more dps and the accel dps is already enough to win in every gamemode so why you need more firepower if another tower already had enough to deal with all enemies in the game,the only thing will be good the dps of the engi is for speedrunning but for almost all player base don't do that.
