"Why is the defender behind the team?" This might be the most important issue in Unite, positioning. Games aren't always fun because players don't want to or don't know how to effectively play as defenders and supports. Positioning is king in every role. People need to figure out where to be (and to appreciate their tanks, even when they die or have "low" numbers. The answer is players don't like to get KO'd, even when that's kind of their job (protecting the carries). Hence why people prefer pulse Goodra vs. muddy water Goodra.

I stopped playing defender bc going in and setting up just to be killed and my team accomplish almost nothing was frustrating so it’s why I went for Armorouge. Good stuns, high defense with nice mobility. I can defend my team and pick up my own KOs if my team can’t. It’s also why I play support attacker and not pure support, again, playing two different roles in case my team mates can’t instead of being upset nobody is doing their jobs as attacker Exp share Espeon is actually quite good, not only am I supporting by slows or stuns I’m usually also always doing the most dmg and or having the most assists. I can play two roles at the same time without sacerficing anything and it’s actually how I started winning more games. There’s a lot of players who actually refuse to support their team and don’t understand when you help your team win you also win

As a Sylveon main, no. The defense nerfs were SO unnecessary for an attacker that's either a tank or a debuffer.

In the hands of a good Sylveon player it’s absolutely enough. It really comes down to item and emblem builds to either maximize the buffs potential or create new kit combinations while playing

I just started playing sylveon for the first time this season and I love it. Had a couple 100k/100k games, one 150k/110k. Mon is a crazy good tank sometimes. I've been using xspeed but might need to try potion.

As a Sylveon specialist, the buffs are great for me, especially those that affect Hyper Voice build because it is the most reliable and effective out of the two. I would say that the average player will find that they need to put tons of effort and energy to even get the same value as most other mons. It’s definitely not the worst mon in the game and is solid if you’re a specialist. All in all, Sylveon just needs the mystical fire-draining kiss changes reverted and it will be in good shape.

God I hate check it out spammers like once game or whenever you want someone to be careful at certain part of the map is ok but some players will want you to check it out every single time they get KO because of how stupid they play, is like is always you fault they getting KO'd all the time

To answer your question Jake. I don’t think they buffed mystical fire enough. Maybe another 5%, just to make Sylveon more competitive. I don’t know if they buffed Sylveons defenses like the other attacker though? 😅

I think these kinds of games in unite are worse than anything else you can get. I’d take an afk on my team instead of this bs. It’s so frustrating when no one plays their role, and no one ever team fights, and everyone thinks they’re the hero. Like these kinda matches make me turn the game off😂

I have been a unite player since the very start. I absolutely can't stand the 'check it out' ping... ☹️ I notice that rather than being helpful and point out objectives or a bunch of free farm, the majority who use it seem to go 'rogue' and target specific teammates, sometimes through the entire match. This is so unhelpful. They might aswell surrender before you have even begun. To just ping 'check it out' solely to bully and harass teammates makes no sense, makes one look more like a 'troll' when doing this. 'check it out' might aswell be a battle item because its definitely a 'great way' to demotivate, badger and take the energy out of your teammates. If you can't use it in a positive way to help, then don't spam it 👍

Yes syleon needed a buff. Because they nerf hyper voice and I hate this latest version. Instead of giving buff to calm mind ( idk ) they must change the size of hyper voice to normal. And always buff used pokemons 😢😢😢

But I have to be honestly I liked the higher damage and more skill based move it the past tho. Couldn’t just throw it anyhow and had some more thinking going behind it. Felt more engaging 😅
