Billionaire investor Warren Buffett was a huge supporter of Hillary Clinton for president, but tells CNN's Poppy Harlow he will support Donald Trump saying "it's very important that the American people coalesce behind the president." Though, Buffett notes, Trump's 4% GDP growth promise is "not realistic."

She will not be charged because she has not committed a crime. It's only conspiracy theorists and mudslinging Republicans who propagate the idea that she has (and only the former believe it).

Robert Delisle Indeed we must see what happens. Please understand that Trump uses the same appeal and policies as Hitler. Promises and actions of Hitler at the time ; Protection from the government, and restoration of law and order. 2) Suspension of trade unions, this is exactily what Trump wants to do. 3) For the working class, jobs and the protection of workers. 4) An increase in the price of agricultural products, that's what he's gonna do. 5) On womans appeal : Emphasis on the family and morals which Trump has not. History thought us a lot and if in any wayTrump ask more power when in office then we must stop it at all costs.

CNN gets these excellent gigs but the journalism is just as bad as we've come to expect. It's nigh impossible to get good journalism these days except sometimes from a writer or something doing a book... and then they're not really a journalist. Most KZbinr's are so star struck they're still struggling and a lot of folks that do interviews don't accept any difficulty in questioning at all, which makes it harder. I appreciated how there was some kind of intention within Buffet to bring about of spark of reason in the journalist and the audience, lol.

Remember his wife is an immigrant, and he has married a lot of them, conservative immigrants smell centralization policies a mile a way and resist ones that don't make perfect sense. Of course, they've got some welfare reforms. I think maybe a basic income is a better idea, since welfare seems to not work so well from a human ecology standpoint, maybe basic income will do better. But, whatever... The media needs and wants centralized government. There's also philosophy which makes it imperative to destroy the Church, that is the Catholic Church, and to not engage in reasoned debate, because reasoned debate uses the rules protected and nurtured by the Catholic Church, as it is the adopted child of the same. Lol, and that feminists can't be expected to rationally defend themselves from the Church through reason, or by way of reason necessarily in the case of traditionalists and conservatives at all, so they reserve resorting to violent activities that they would shame their opponents for using, thus as we see, all this playing out... I know all that sounds ridiculous, but just think through this election season we've just been through. It's clear they don't care if they bring in a caliphate and destroy western civilization as long as they can destroy the Church. They need to destroy the Church's brand of altruistic misogyny... this is a fairly new term. To do so, they need to specifically deny scientific findings regarding the differences between men and women and how they self select mates and so forth, destroy that to take over the family... all this yields the fall of civilization, of course, but also the destruction of the Church. It's all bullshit, of course, because once they run out of brains to drain, and, in fact, before that in many cases, the state turns on the feminists in order to get babies, using the centralized forces brought about in part to destroy the Church, lol. That's right, communism. The feminists are useful idiots and they vote in a nice block, but are becoming more and more attack dogs for the commies that don't particularly like them. They do keep the corporations for spewing healthy policy on their employees through organized attacks and media suppression. On: "Centralized government" "Altruistic Misogyny"

Learn to save and watch your money grow. Learn to sacrifice your desires and cravings of unnecessary consumption. You don't need a brand new car that depreciates rapidly while leaving you in debt for years. You don't need many pairs of shoes, fashionable clothes etc. You don't need to eat out frequently. You don't need to have a tobacco, alcohol or drug habit. You don't need to play the lottery. You don't need to get into hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt to obtain an education when there is no guarantee of a well paying career. You don't need to keep your savings in a bank that pays you a measly APY or charges you fees. You don't need to buy a way overpriced house on a 30 year. You don't need to keep up with the Joneses. You don't need to loan money to or co-sign credit for others who aren't financially responsible while putting your finances at risk. You don't need to impress anyone while staying or going broke. All of those things can imprison you financially. Save ferociously. Splurge sporadically and you will do well. Marry someone likeminded and you will do great. Always put financial balance in your favor. Be frugal, be smart

I actually image saved your comment because this should be taught in school. The only thing that will reset most of our economic problems, is that everyone and I mean EVERYONE must be taught a basic knowledge of saving most of your income every time you have income. A realize that inby doing so, you're guaranteeing a comfortable future for yourself and family. You may think this doesn't help those that HAVE to live paycheck-to-paycheck. If a great more people decide to save more, that will relieve the banks because you are pretty much investing in them (hence the interest you earn), because that money you have put in the banks can then be and usually is put toward investments as well that (and because the people using bank money to invest are the kind of the actuarial scientists (whom in order even be called that, have to study for almost a decade and they have to pass higher 80% in everything)that know exactly what they're doing. So in conclusion saving money, helps you AND the economy in the long run

***** No, not only for that but also for the fact that Hillary used her position in government for personal gain and at the expense of the American people. Buffett's comments indicate that he could care less about the American people because he is very wealthy, so Hillary's actions don't impact his lifestyle. Buffett has security with his money so the ONLY thing that he cares about is what could threaten his own personal lifestyle. It's the same way that many of the wealthy think. If it is a threat to THEIR lifestyle, then they are concerned. If it is a threat to the lifestyle of the other 99% of the population then they just could not care. That is why Trump won.

Here's a guy who grew up in modest conditions, read just about every book you can read on finance while most kids were learning to ride a bike, and was already investing before he was even a teenager with money he made himself, not given to him from daddy. Through hard studying and mentorship he perfected his craft and is respected around the world for not only that, but his insane levels of philanthropy. Through it all, he's openly supported higher taxes on the wealthy, and challenged other wealthy people to officially pledge to donate at least half their wealth when they die. He doesn't live the billionaire, or even millionaire lifestyle, nor does he indulge in the superficial bullshit that most people live for: Fancy cars, watches, jewels, expensive suits, mega mansions and multi million dollar high rise condos. A man with over 70 billion dollars who doens't even care for a cell phone. No, in fact the American people think Obama did a great job. Obama is leaving the white house with the 18th best approval rating of the last 43 presidents, and it might even get better because presidents approval rating usually increase quite a bit during the last lame duck period. First black president, with unprecedented levels of obstructionism from the senate and the house, and he leaves with only 17 presidents scoring higher, _ever_. That's a decent president right there, even though you might not like him personally.

I find it hard to listen to a guy lecture about Americans getting in 40 hours of work a week. There is a big difference between the guy putting in 40 hours at McDonald's and the guy putting in 40 hours on a roof in the hot sun and it isn't pay. The problem he doesn't seem to understand is how sick hard working Americans are of working hard fucking jobs for shitty wages. Its real easy to say everyone should go work 40 hours but when your the guy who has to take a shitty roofing job because all the McDonald's jobs are taken well.. GL staying motivated. Yeah everyone needs to work but maybe guys like him could at least address the serious lack of appreciation for real jobs that America has.

Spoonfuls of Adventure I agree that those questions are what people have in their mind right now. why's she pushing Mr. Warren to speak bad about Mr. Trump he certainly doesn't want to. He says he supported Hillary but understand she lost and he moved on, but the lady kept on pushing, not pushing to do great journalism she was just pushing to put dirt on Mr. Trump. It was a good thing he didn't do it, he said he liked Hillary better but he will respect Mr. Trump because he is the President elect, that is democracy. So CNN should promote democracy (the majority of the people elected Trump), I understand that CNN might have things against the president elect, but is not about the elections anymore is about he is the president of USA so yes hold him accountable, but now use real journalism to unite the people under democracy instead of trying to have people to put dirt on Trump, try to recognize democracy and recognize the new president and protest, not riot when there's something to protest, the people of America chose him, not get over it. I never liked Obama as president nothing he did, but I understood he was my president, yes criticize, yes I dislike so many of his policies but I knew he was the president the American people spoke. CNN you heard the cry of the majority of American voters do journalism professionally, use your power of influence to promote good will, I you have nothing good to say about the next president is ok you don't like him you have the right, but what is the point in infightings more hatred rioting in a lot of ignorant people like high schoolers and such and get with the program this is a democracy the majority spoke. If Hillary would have won I would not have liked it, but believe me the Trump supporters you so much label as haters and ramboceous , are showing a much dignify side than you are. I just cant believe how this beautiful woman, who has a lot of schooling and experience can fall so low trying to push this man to say the things that supported her agenda he didn't want to, but she kept on pushing, just like this man America Mr. Warren showed he did not like the way America vote but decided to respect America's principal (democracy) you do as well, wait and see what happens. wait and see the changes he incorporates listen well to what the president says and if you want to oppose him do it in the rightful manner at the rightful time. Right now it is your right to protest not riot and your right to dislike him, but it is not wise because what your doing is protesting the principal of democracy and being of double standard because if Hillary would have want you would have wanted and expected the same from the losing party. now America agree to disagree but at least in that agree and media stop what your doing poisoning America that is not your job, is to look for facts and report the truth not your vendetta and agenda.

Sort of. The majority of Clinton voters wanted Clinton. And the majority of Trump voters wanted Trump. What drove this election was the enthusiasm on Trump's side. Clinton had some enthusiasm from women, but that was about it. People who didn't like either candidate probably tended to stay home, perhaps more so on Clinton's side. That was why overall turnout was low. Not saying I have all the numbers on all that, but that seems to be the picture I'm seeing. If you have something that says otherwise I'd be happy to hear about it.

Paul Stringini I disagree with the assertion that "the majority of Trump supporters wanted Trump." What figure or statistic leads you to believe this? I think that the majority voted for their party because that is who they were given for the election. I would assert that the majority of those who voted for Trump disagree with his statements which border on racism, sexism, etc., but that they simply could not vote for Clinton.

Taylor Bradshaw I have no statistics. But I'll say this. Most Americans call themselves Democrats. So this was not exactly a party lines election. I also disagree with a lot of what Trump had to say. I was not a Trump supporter early on. But what I like about him is that he was saying things we are "not allowed" to say. That is why I supported him. I think that the destruction of Orwellian speech control was well worth the risk. I don't buy for a minute that this guy is going to blow up our country. 100% it's for money, he has even said that self driving vehicles are not safe, and that it would be unfair business, for insurance companies... no surprise, as he own one of the biggest insurance companies. Greedy indeed.

Daniel Hollingsworth Why do so many of you keep saying H. Clinton is a criminal? When was she found guilty in the court of law?

Daniel Hollingsworth actually despite the fact that he is in control a lot of money, he isn't obsessed with it. In fact, he lives a more middle class lifestyle than many middle class people. He doesn't even own a cell phone. No new fancy car, no expensive watches, no limo driver and no mega mansion. Like he said several times, people hated both candidates. If he supported Trump there would be someone just like you with the same response, but with different rhetoric.
