Slifer the Executive Producer time. Technically speaking, this is the real final battle against the Qadistu (his theme is even is a remixed version of the Qadistu theme), though it would've been better if he summoned all 4 phantoms at once. A really important side quest since this reveals that Marduk is the horned god that's been mentioned and that he had the Throne originally, and his usage of it influenced everything that would come, as well as Marduk in his mythology being the one that killed Tiamat. Also the reveal that Samael summoned the Qadistu from another world (as per the Zohar, the angels of prostitution are his wives and consorts), thus making Samael responsible for a good chunk of Vengeance's events.

What is the side quest that mentions Marduk? I may have skipped over it but it sounds interesting

@@Chase-uy9lv All the Demeter side quest bring up the horned god up, but this is the one you find out it's Marduk. The whole ''descend from the horned god'' thing appears to reference the syncretism that storm gods like Marduk, Baal and Zeus have. Susano-O is also a storm god who has syncretism with Gozu-Tennoh, who is a bull figure hence why he's part of it.

It does kind of suck that Samael is just given a sidequest rather than having a more important role

For anyone wondering you literally unlock this once you enter the Empyrean. That's it. You don't have to have done anything else in the Empyrean, though he is pretty high level. Not that that's a factor in Vengeance. Weird is the Qadistu summoned here all have analysis entries and the likes. They're sadly more effective here than they are when fought as a team previously. At least they have their friggin signatures here. Weirdly Lilith's Shadow has the unique move she had in her actual boss fight where she revives one of the other Qadistu. This was a really... Interesting fight actually, at least in terms of presentation. Has a lot of atmosphere for a side quest boss in these games. Unique boss theme too. Too bad he himself can't break through light immunity outside of his lame signature. Man, speaking of. High chance of poison with a Sukunda effect. Wow. What a signature skill. Doesn't even do damage directly or anything. I'm glad to see ol' danger noodle Sammy back but man they kind of did him dirty.

For anyone wanting to unlock Godborn mode (lv 150 cap), this quest must be completed and will be available after you reach the Empyrean. After completing this quest, Mastema will have another quest in Shinjuku where you will need to defeat a superboss and after that you will unlock the miracle in the world of shadows for Godborn mode.

That second quest only appears on NG+ after you fight True Lucifer I believe.

@@Chase-uy9lv Welp, I _may_ be wrong. Some people say you can reload a save after beating True Lucy and the quest will be there. Not really relevant though, fighting the new superboss on the first playthrough will get you slapped brutally.

BuffMaister been doing playthrough on this game for years! A true pro and expert opinion on SMTV 1&2 ! I played original on Switch as well , BuffMaister playthrough helped many still does! I had Lillith(Shadow?) Lvl 80 in my party here talk to other who held my party! What a "sucker" she was! I shoulve opted for Vishsnu lv 91 instead with his light and dark block protect! Too lazy i was , i dont want give up lvl 89 Alliat , Norn at 80 lvl maybe? This was simply the same ice attack with same blocks as Bethel Egypt Approach against that Ra demon but at higher lvl? Back to Dragonborn and Skyrim V again, less need for heavy redundant game saving which is questionable here ...over all good fun game! This is old hat for BuffMaister his Smtv 1&2 content will be around for many years! Thank you BuffMaister nice to see you back again!

Honestly i dont think he is the snake I domt think any of the named angels or demons are the snake not even in the context of religion itself The snake was another being entirely
