How amazing!! Owls are always my favourite but to watch a sunbird"s nest with chicks is absolutely incredible! Lovely video.

I must admit I do not go for nesting watch other than owls. But I seemed to be very lucky recently. Meeting nesting when I was out and near fledging time. Another lucky day for me. Thanks for watching. 😊

Wow, nice finding my friend. From our area, we not usually see the Buffy Fish Owl, but a lot of Brown Fish Owl, my friend. One time they nested and we found them around our Tonle Sap Lake. Thank you for sharing this lovely video, my dear friend.

I have not meet a Brown Fish Owl yet. Hope will get to meet it one day. Thanks for watching friend.🙂

Yes. The videos posted here are my precious memories for wildlife I spotted when I went out for my nature walk. Very precious to me and sharing it to anyone who loves wildlife. More importantly, encouraging people to go outdoors to enjoy the nature. Thank you for watching. 😊

The Buffy Fish Owl 🦉 is native to SOUTHEAST ASIA, and has a stable residence in its region, and therefore it has been taken out of the Endangered List and is classified as Least Concerned.

The Swinhoe White-eye also known as Japanese White-eye is a common resident in Hong Kong 🇭🇰, Japan 🇯🇵, and through out India as well, only that in India, they call it Indian White-eye. It seems that name changes slightly due to geographical locations.
@Dr.WolverinetheBirdwatcherGuy5 ай бұрын
Actually, the swinhoe’s white eye (Zosterops simplex) is a different species from the Japanese white eye (Zosterops japonicus) though they are closely related.
@Dr.WolverinetheBirdwatcherGuy5 ай бұрын
Also, the Indian White eye is a separate species, Zosterops palpebrosus

I believed there is a reason to name them as subspecies of this and that. I am not very good in interpreting. If you search into the ebird website, you may be able to find out the answers. ebird.org/species/swiwhe1, ebird.org/species/warwhe1, ebird.org/species/indwhe1. 😉

I hear Red-billed Blue Magpie birds in the background on your video. Have you got any photos or videos of the Red-billed Blue Magpie birds ?
@kimpriority5 ай бұрын
Singapore do not has species for Red-billed Blue Magpie birds. I guessed you may have heard the Javan Myna, they were quiet loud, flying around the owlet nest.
