I remember, here in Australia, the ads weren't allowed to include the words "vampire slayer" when they were in their early seasons, and then again when Dawn was introduced, because it aired around 8pm which was still considered quite early, and if kids thought Dawn was Buffy they'd be inclined to watch it as she (Dawn) was a child.... Channel Seven, lol.

Not true. When Dawn was introduced, the show aired at 10:30pm. In fact, the show aired at 10:30pm (generally on Mondays, although it varied during seasons) from about the middle of the second season onwards until the series finale. Can't speak to the censorship of the words "vampire slayer", but that's possible that was the case when the show aired on Thursdays and later Fridays at 7:30pm during the first season and first few episodes of the second season. Scheduling the show was really a mess at that time, Buffy bounced all over the place.

No wonder people who never seen the show just thought it was most likely corny. Bad spots for an amazing show. Watching them does bring me back though!

i'll never forget how bad i crided at the end of season 2,3 5 and 7 worst thing ever was ending the show i wish so bad to reverse time and watch these every week again my childhood was the best cuz of this show and pokemon i'm so glad to be a 90s baby! i just wish i could remember which freaking season i started watching it at i can remember watching a few premeire ones of each season but i cant remember all of them but i know for a fact i watched season 4 or 5 up till the end and the rest on

FX after school and then again at 6&7pm but damn i can't remember and it bugs the hell out of me for some reason i have no clue why 8i cant reemmber this i can remember shit from when i was like 3 but cant rememeber something from like 9 years ago lol idk this sucks tho i hope the promos can jog my memory cuz it bugs me everytime i watch the show :/

Lord, these promos are cheesy/corny as all get-out. I always feel ashamed that I never watched the show until 9 years after it ended, and then I remember how ridiculous it looked in the promos. Seriously, who thought these were a good idea?
