early cgi (and later lower budget cgi) tends to be like that. modeling every tooth at extremely high resolution because they can while still trying to keep conventional 2d cartoon stylings while rudimentary shaders make it look like plastic. it can be done right, but it’s just as easy if not easier to do it wrong

I remember playing this at an arcade in Poins Square Mall back in the late 2000s, but it was called "Bug Spray" and the main characters are more anime-like. It was published by Andamiro instead of Mizi Entertainment.

There is something so mesmerizingly ugly about this. The enemy designs, in an attempt to be more cartoony, somehow feel just as creepy as coming face to face with a real bug would. Despite that, the game is at least consistent and the Maximum Force style of sprites over FMV is neat, but looks very basic. But that doesn’t change one very important thing: Korean arcade games were weird as fuck, man.
