@@randomjar6934 Super Paper Mario was pretty good though, even if different. My only real complaint? If they were gonna do more Super Mario Bros-type gameplay, the levels probably should've been more exclusively designed around it. OST, story, gameplay mechanics, the rest of it, I can vibe with, especially OST and story, just the level design gets fairly bothersome at times.

@@RainbwSpctrm But I didn’t say anything about it being bad? Super is a fantastic game. I love it. I also believe Color splash has a lot going for it, and I think Origami King can beat Ttyd any day. The only reason I suggested Super to be used in one of these videos is because the creator seems to be one of those people who thinks every game after Ttyd is bad. A lot of people group Super in with the later games so I could see it as a possibility.

Story, Gameplay, Writing? Nah, none of that mattered! It's all about the BUG COMEDY! Vi now runs the only shop in the game, and now price gouges you on everything, and nothing! You can literally just give her money for nothing in return! Kanu now says "Honour" and "Justice" in every sentence! He is also obsessed with fighting, it's all he ever thinks about! Best of all, Lief is completely mute! He went from "We/They" pronouns, to "Silent/Protagonist" pronouns!

Yep. That pretty much sums up the entire PMCS battle experience. Now, I know this animation was made as a joke, one very beautifully made that is, but I unironically would pay and play the shit out of this by just the way the artstyle looks. You nailed the style perfectly, PMCS is my second favorite Paper Mario right after the OG 64, so seeing Bug Fables with PMCS style gives me feeling I cannot exactly describe, but I'm loving every bit of it!
