Pick yourself up a set of some good quality tire irons man! They will pay off in the long run if you keep doing this.

The tractor method.. One could almost think you did watch my video.. but then, it failed for me as well so maybe not :D I'm tired (no pun intended) of mounting car tires myself as it didn't work for me. The local tire shop charges about 15$ taking the old tire off, mounting the new one and balancing.. As long as i can't balance it myself its not worth the time as balancing alone costs almost 10$ a tire..

I was pretty surprised when it didn't work. I got charged 60$ just to balance a set of 4 so I've made the decision to spend that money on a tool each time I do it instead. The bead seater was a little more than that but I think it was a good investment overall

Yeah, my tractor is just over 1ton and it wasn't enough to break the bead on a tire, so those can really sit on there tight especially if they are older... Thats a pretty good way to get tools and save money aswell.. Do you plan on getting on of those bubble balancers? They don't seem to work that well and are difficult to work with it seems by watching other youtube videos..

+huberkarle I'm not sure yet. I've definitely thought about it, but I'll probably do some more research and see if there's anything else out there
