I was fan since they debuted, i also bought their pop album and i had a fan page , i was literally no.1 fan/ rainbow and its so sad watching them go on their separate ways, and also happy for them to continue their hobbies.

I'm gonna be honest - bugaboo had social media hype, there were hit tweets talking about them and their mvs have pretty decents views. However, their album sales were... damn low. idk if their downfall came from their company relation with nfts or their music

Yeah I started to include album sales in my recent vids cause when I wrote the script for this bugaboo video I didn’t think about that aspect tbh 😅 but most likely album sales were low so that was the highest likely possibility for their disbandment still sucks what happened to them.

I know BUGABOO!! I remember getting ads of their debut song and thinking that it was very catchy so I searched them up and I remember playing it on repeat every day 😆 I also realized that 2 of the members were from pd48 but at first I could not recognize Choyeon because she looked very foreign with her blonde hair, but after searching them up I found out it was her (the meme girl) and they even had a reunion with Bae Yunjeong which I thought would gather them some attention but I’m quite disappointed with the outcome :(

I was a huuge BugAboo stan!! I have both of their albums and Pop was my favorite song of 2022. I just had that feeling about them. 😢

I was a VAV stan before and after bugaboo’s debut (I still am but don’t keep up that much) and gotta say their debut was delayed several times so from the start it didn’t seem their gonna manage them well A team just kinda don’t know how to manage their groups since VAV went viral a few times throughout the years but they never took the chance and after bugaboo’s disbandment VAV lost a member and only had a comeback before the determination of their contract (VAV members said they’re still a group so maybe they’re looking for a new company but either way Ace has a KZbin channel now you can check it out) so I guess the company was struggling since they also had two trainees one of them was in 1the9 but later both separated from the company and Won who was in 1the9 debuted in Ciipher and the other went on a survival show and also one of the VAV members (Ayno) went on a survival show as well so yeah

I expected them to be as popular as tri.be back then since they are both handled by a producer that made a lot of kpop hits but then disbanding after 2 releases was shocking

I wonder what bugaboo means to them. In the 90s the black community used the term as a rest annoying person who won’t take no for an answer. Destiny’s Child made a some about also titled Bugaboo

I love Pop, but you mentioned mv views when I think you should've looked into their sales. On wikipedia, Bugaboo seems to have sold: 6,481 while Pop sold: 1,324. If you do more video essays, I would totally suggest looking into sales more since kpop is a business first, above everything else (sadly). Anyways, keep up the good work!!!
