The municipality of Bugallon was formerly called “Salasa”. It was founded on January 24, 1719. The town was named after the town’s hero, Major Jose Torres

Not sure if there is a direct bus from Bugallon. You may try a direct bus to Dagupan then you may ride a mini bus to Mangatarem or Bugallon po. This will take around 3hrs po siguro to commute. Let's wait for the locals to respond. Baka may nakakaalam ng mas tama 😊
