There are 2 different versions of the m118, one is a 50 watt and the other is a 70 watt, I have both and the difference is definitely noticable

yeah, the 50w version was like $33 on Amazon for quite a while. The 70w version is a lot more $$.
@salinakump51122 жыл бұрын
@@JaysStraightUpReviews I've completely disassembled the 50 watt version and I can verify there is literally no difference in the 2 versions other than the wattage ratings, they both have the same 4" drivers and the same red pcb, and the same 4 18650 battery pack
@salinakump51122 жыл бұрын
The 70watt version definitely has 2 eq modes, indoor and outdoor, long press the mode button it beeps once for one mode and twice for the other, the bass is more noticeable on one of the modes and there is more treble on the other mode

I just bought the M83 ($43) & M118 ($40). The M83 has better base; M118 better mid & highs, and louder. M83 charges much slower, USB vs. M118 USB-C. M11 is significantly bigger but both weighs about the same. Worse thing about M118 is that it auto shuts off in 5 minutes if nothing is playing. This is very annoying as you have to walk to the speaker & press that long press to turn it on. That button will fail after a while (due to this being a budge speaker). I'm going to return 1 but not sure which.

You still have the bugani m118 i have a question which one is more loud and strong bass against the soundcore boom2 or motion boom plus?
@careygenius82093 жыл бұрын
The W King D8 HAS been dethroned!! It wasn't a controversial split decision either!! The Bugani M118 is the new 50W champ with more bass, louder volume, less distortion, mic input, and ability to charge your phone or other devices. I heard this through Bose Quiet Comfort 15 headphones. Also, you can remove the front plate via the 4 screws for even more clarity. I'm actually waiting on my 118 to be delivered today!! Awesome review from Jay...

After seeing a lot of reviews I decided to get this speaker specially because of the mic input. Whenever you plug in a mic, it has a built in delay effect that I really don't want in there. Does anybody know if there is a way to get it out? Maybe through a software update? Otherwise, great speaker

thanks for your video !!!! you know? All your colleagues on the platform make the videos in such a way that apart from their opinion, the equipment looks so happy, like begging you to buy them ... except you with the m118, I don't know why, but, I guess You have had it since very recently and it looks like this, like worn, the plastic itself, it looks cheaper than in the rest of the videos of your colleagues; and no, I am not telling you that this is bad, on the contrary, thanks for the detail, I am more convinced to buy the m83 ... I like it better in all aspects. By the way, I don't like the w-king because it is almost the abbreviation of my cousin's name, but in his video the plastic finish of this looks much better than the m118, by design I prefer the m118 without a doubt. And as we say in Venezuela: thank you for existing

Has anyone verified the battery life on the BUGANI M118
@OJesusX32 жыл бұрын
It's got a pretty big battery, it's at least 8,000-10,000mah from what I've seen. Mines still on the way, so I can't say for sure, but reviews have been pretty pleased with the battery life. 😊🌎✨
@OJesusX3 Жыл бұрын
The battery life is definitely 10,000 mah rated. It is honestly a little undersized for the amount of power that this unit puts out, but it still has one of the biggest batteries in the industry. 😎🌎✨

Interesting. They upped the watts compared to the M83 but they removed the tweeters. Hence why the M118 sounds slightly muffled and hence why it lost to the W-King. With tweeters this speaker would’ve even given the Soundcore Motion+ a run for its money. I can cop this speaker for $44 but not sure if it’s even worth that price

You guys are seriously missing out. The D8 is nothing compared to its newer sibling, the D3 Pro. The D3 Pro has bigger drivers and a higher power at roughly the same size. Its the best seller in asian countries and I hope that europe and us will get it soon. There is a video in youtube comparing the d3 pro and d8. Take a listen, youll be very surprised
@JaysStraightUpReviews4 жыл бұрын
The d3 pro should be a lot better. It's about $150 on aliexpress.com. Last D8 I got I paid $39.99.
@AbsoluteFidelity4 жыл бұрын
@@JaysStraightUpReviews it shouldnt cost that much. In asian countries, both costs nearly the same. Some people say the Neocore Wave A4 and the W-King D3 Pro are the same, I more than suspect that the W-King D3 Pro are using their own DSP board, like they always do, making things much better. Heres a comparo of the D3 Pro and the D8. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pWqbiKedjcualac

@@AbsoluteFidelity I can't read anything on that comparison you linked to. Is the D8 running in EQ 1 or 2 in that video? The D8 sounded not quite as bright or loud as the D3 Pro, but I think the D8 sounded like it was in EQ 1. EQ 2 is a brighter and a bit louder sound. I can also say, at least from what I hear from the speakers I have, that the Black/silver grille D8 doesn't sound quite as good or loud as the black/green D8 I have. At any rate the D3 Pro looks like an interesting speaker and if it ever comes to America/Amazon for a more reasonable price, I might check it out. It appears there are several W-King speakers, many just rebranded, and some aren't available in America.
@AbsoluteFidelity4 жыл бұрын
@@JaysStraightUpReviews it was running with eq 2 (on). Anyway, even with the eq on its just a decible boost, sound character remains the same. I have heard that the Neocore Wave A4 is very similiar to the D3 Pro, but I strongly suspect W-King uses their own DSP board like they always do, making the D3 Pro superior to the Wave A4. There is a speaker that looks exactly like the D8 but doesnt sound as good because of this very reason.
@JaysStraightUpReviews4 жыл бұрын
@@AbsoluteFidelity EQ 2 has a brighter sound on the three I own. Thing with some of these Chinese companies is they continuously seem to be updating their speakers. So, this speaker arrived on Tuesday. It’s now Friday. I’ve been playing everyday day for about 3/4 hours. I have to say that the M118 sounds better today than it did when I first use it. I’m guessing it’s burn in. Anyway, this speaker thumbs. Even at the highest volumes the M118 was satiating my appetite for bass. I do value other frequencies though so with that said this speaker is kind of a disappointment, especially with the highs. But like I said earlier, this speaker is sounding better as the days progress. By this time next week it should sound perfect 😂. This speaker is definitely worth the $44 I paid for it.

@OJesusX32 жыл бұрын
I've been liking it for it's clarity in bass too. It's enclosure is larger and doesn't constrain the lower frequencies. It's a pretty good deal from what I've seen. More treble/mids can easily be added with spare speakers, a couple holes, and a filter cap. 😊🌎✌️
