Great trailer moving machine. Moving the boat back and forth/left and right in my garage made my shoulder injured. I am thinking of selling the boat but with this machine moving the boat so easy and no longer thinking about selling it. 100% recommend. Get it as soon as you can.

Great video, Marc. This is the "unbiased" video that I've been looking for to see how the TV really performs. I think I'm going to order one of these today! My legs and back will thank me for it. :-)

Thank you, Marc, that was the most thorough (user) video that I've seen. I've been considering buying this for a while and your video takes me one step closer.

Katherine, it sure beats trying to push the boat into place. I still marvel at how easily it moves such a heavy thing. I do try to get the boat as far into the garage with the truck (I have a truck now), but it is so much safer moving the trailer and boat with the Trailer Valet. I will say, that if you live in a humid place... I live in Florida, you really have to stay on top of keeping the TV dry.

Beautiful...thanks for the demo. I need to turn my popup camper around so I can hook it up to my truck and drive it out of my long inclined (ugh) driveway. Was ready to build a winch motor dolly...Thanks, Mel.

You'll want to get the Trailer Valet XL... it's made specifically for trailers that the original Valet can't attach to. I have an XL too, it's great! Marc

Great video, which was very helpful for me to make up my mind to purchase one. Here's a tip: if you leave it on your trailer, do remove it once you get to the boat launch. A thief would probably steal it. Be safe.

Hi Christopher... I would definitely focus on keeping it dry. There are places that will rust. I occasionally spray joining elements with a maritime grade lubricant to keep it in good shape. Keep it maintained like your boat and you should be fine.

Good job! I was curious if the valet could pivot for travel. Will be good for my Escapod teardrop if I get into a turnaround situation in the mountains.

Thanks Marc! Excellent video. Any issues after a few years of use? Any chance of making another video showing you unload and parking diagonally into the garage? I’m looking for something similar and may just get this product.

HI there...I am thinking about getting one of these and the main reason is I have tandem axle (21' Nitro Z9 bass boat) that I can't turn at an angle at all!! is your boat a tandem axle? I am assuming it is but can't tell on the video...if it is it looks like you have no problem turning your boat at an angle in your garage which is exactly what I need!
@mbugbey9 жыл бұрын
Dan Phillips Hi Dan, my trailer is a tandem axel. If you turn at a sharp angle, the tailer will eventually try to correct itself with the funny pressures the tandem gives... the correction is usually about four inches. I put down a thick red tape line on the garage floor to help me determine where the wheels need to get to. I did that after I first got the boat comfortably in the garage. Now, I just drive the trailer wheels to that line and I know I'm in good shape.

Thank you so much Marc!! I went ahead and ordered it and should have it by tomorrow so we will see how i do with it! anything will be an improvement from trying to move it by hand: )

Dan, somebody else suggested using a chordless power drill to drive the whole thing. I haven't tried that myself yet, but you might find that an extra help. Good luck!

how would this valet perform on a bumpy side yard??? i can't use my garage thanks
@mbugbey8 жыл бұрын
Hi Dave, as you can see, my experience is on my driveway and garage. However, the two tires on the unit are good sized and handle most any surface that you could push a fully loaded wheel barrow on... Give the Trailer Valet folks a call to make sure. Their Web site has some pretty good material... Here's their customer support number: (626) 363-4361

Nice video. I have been semi skeptical because I have seen reviews on them with the user saying their valet basically imploded on itself when using a 4000Lb load on it (they say less than 500lb tongue weight but who knows). but after seeing the size of your boat I feel like the users that broke theirs just did it wrong. I have a Four Winns 180 and the weight is only about 3300-3500 total. I will be using mostly for getting in the garage as I only have about 2-4 inches to spare to get it in the door.

Samuel James - so have you done it yet? I'm installing mine today. I have a rockwood 1905 which weighs 3200 dry. I have a overhang on my driveway and I hoping this can help me maneuver around it nice, slow, and steady!

I've just bought this and will have it set up tomorrow. I hear and read bad reviews on this product but everyone I see video's of including the Trailer Valet Official Video are doing something I absolutely don't understand which is leading to more wear and tear of the product. WHY IS EVERYONE ONLY USING THE 1 WHEEL FROM THE TRAILER VALET SO IT DOES 100% OF THE WORK? WHY IS NO PERSON USING THE SWING BACK TRAILER JACK WITH WHEEL SO THEY HAVE A DISTRIBUTION OF LOAD? Both wheels have winch's that the height can be altered. Is there some issue I don't know about with doing this? I'll have mine put on in 2 days to experiment myself.

Not exactly good for a bad back either though. Bent over like that the whole time and using both hands.
