It's a demo, he does a good job. Chill out. The amp jams, I use it on the road, it kicks ass.

by just changing the v1 preamp tube with a good NOS tube and a sonic maximizer and this amp sounds so good live!

That's why there's knobs man. In all seriousness, I have been listening to tons of demos of amps and no matter what guitar is plugged in, there isn't a lot of difference unless there's a Tele or Strat plugged in and most of those are stock pickups. Check the specs on your pickups if there's a chart that helps a lot in comparing yours to say this guys. I'm now going to check out that model you mentioned because it looks like it may be what I want in a guitar.

@94eriliv the 6262 has an eq, presence controls, and master volume control for each channel. this only has 1 eq for both channels and 1 presence and 1 master volume

@94eriliv the 6260 has one eq, the 6262 has an eq for each channel, also bugera says the 6262 has more midrange in it's voicing than the 6260.

Nikolas you would need a cabinet too. You can get the bugera cab for about 250 American dollars or there are inexpensive used options as well.

I nearly bought one of these a while ago they seem very good, just the few stories about reliability were niggling at me and i ended up getting a barely used 6505 instead for similar money. I do love the peavey but couldnt have afforded a new one and i think this is the next best thing at the price.

Absolutely! I used to experiment with my Boogie Mark III. I would take these solid state amps like Peavey, Crate etc. and plug them in thru the effects loop on the Boogie...superb tone! So in your case, out of the POD and to the return on the amp. Usually just the master volume on the amp will work and all other controls are bypassed. Let me know how it works out ok? Cheers from Canada.

well i mean its not necessarily 120 watts because they assume everyone wants to play a giant venue. a lot of metal players don't want much power tube saturation, so they need lots of headroom

@gerby90 Not so much true, people can get used 5150/6505 from guitar center for half the price. i got my 5150 for 600, 550 with 50$ shipping and its in like new shape! never ever had any problems with it.

to all these people who are takeing bugera into ocnsideraion, their new products with the infinium technology have increased reliability by a big mark and you should definetly look for the infinium range rather than the standard.
@MiloMeskensOfficial
@MiloMeskensOfficial 13 жыл бұрын
@drugdrunkker the line 6 will be more versatile and reliable (digital), but tubes wil sound waaaaaay better, so the bugera will be the better sounding and louder definitly! It's up to what you're looking for!

@cmountford09 Yes it is , but why would you need something to be louder than an HRD? 40 tube watts is pretty loud, I have a 50 watt tube amp and I have never even had to go past half at a reasonably sized gig. These things are ridiculously loud. I have the bugera 1960 and it has way too much headroom.

@mikevmpr3 i guess it depends a lot where ur from. here in holland theres simply not a big amount of 2nd hand amps to begin with. and if ur lucky enough to find one, they'll often ask for a lot and arent willing to go down on the price. ppl hang on to their gear for a long time, cuz theyr considered a big investment. why? cuz prices here are much much higher than in the US.

The amp isn't that bad, but he has some ugly feedbacks when you aren't playing. With a noisegate and a better cabinet, you get a nice amp for the smaller pocket! The distortion is actually nice :) and thats what a valve amp should have!

I like it...the only thing that bothers me is the one eq...How has i play through a LP standard and a Michael Kelly Patriot Decree right now. I like my mids at a 9 high at about 5 and bass around an 8 (depending on the amp) for gain. For clean i like the high at 9 mid at 6 and bass at 5 (depending on the amp) Anyone think i could find a happy medium or just shell out the extra 100 bucks and get the 333 Infinium?

6262 is more versatile, has better cleans, but has a less "raw" sound, and a tad less gain (which shouldnt even make a difference since both of these things are fucking gain monsters and it should never really have to pass 5). the 6260 is just like i said, more raw, slightly worse cleans, etc...
