Joe does have an envious gig at Bugera. His playing is just a demonstration of the amps folks, not a demonstration of his playing. Why all the hateful comments ? Rock on Joe ...... all the way to the bank !!!

Out of all the "reviews" and "this amp vs. that amp" , someone finally stated exactly what the footswitch controls (was wondering about the reverb)! Thank-you! I ordered this amp (infinium though, have to wait several weeks as the distributer is out of stock)...mainly for the clean features and how the gains sort of pick up where the other left off from clean to crunch to lead. This is more of a classic rock/metal amp not modern high gain. With the bright switch and gain you also get twang and blues sounds, bonus. I own a 333XL, (after reading a particular review, anyone who thinks a 333XL is strictly a metal amp doesn't know how to use it) but the clean channel is just a full rich clean, doesn't break up... this way I have the 6262 clean features and a back up amp too. I had bought a Marshall and I played it for an hour then it died, I returned it. It sounded really rich on clean, could get twangy, bluesy but I found the lead gain low end fizzy/buzzy with a gap in mid range then kicked back in on high mids and highs at it's best settings for me, it lacked...I refused a replacement. Out of the "reviews" on here, this amp vs that amp, this ones better bla bla bla, all these amps sound good, it's preference and how much you're willing to pay. You also have to consider the guitar you're using, I have "metal" guitars that just don't work well for clean and blues stuff but shred to the max and medium output guitars for classic rock and bluesy stuff.. I'm done with Marshall's due to problems, had problematic Peavey's....my 333XL infinium is a replacement, it had a problem right out of the box but they replaced the amp, it occasionally made a static sort of noise kinda like a dirty pot would, maybe a bad preamp tube but I don't think it was serious, the retailer didn't mess around though. It didn't shit the bed or anything (like the Marshall). For the money, I can't complain, the replacement is A1, love the noise gate on the hot channel. As far as the Marshall, goes to show any amp can be a lemon and you're paying for the name and labor costs. ***These "affordable" tube amps, they have circuit boards-not hand wired, I run a fan on them because circuit boards and tube heat don't mix well, playin' safe. One more thing-this guy is creepy, can't play, can't sell....grow up people. I can't play either LOL, I need to warm up about a half hour before I'm really diggin' in. Down side to the 6262- no noise gate, no master volume and no boost features like the 333XL, down side to the 333XL, no foot-switchable reverb control and clean tone limitations. I'll have best of both worlds with 2 amps/a backup for less money than one high end full featured amp. Oh, and the digital reverb sounds better than others I've heard, not going to complain. Sorry, didn't mean to write a book, LOL. Cheers.

Good demostration for both 6260 and 6262! Bugera seems to be the best choice for those with low-budget, for me for an example. After I saw our local guitarhero has the 6262 at our commom reheasal room I made the decision to get Bugera for myself too.
@jw11432

@bianchiniman the footswitch does not activate the crunch, that can only be activated via the front panel. the footswitch only lets you select between clean and lead, and of course with reverb and fx loop buttons as well.

@SiXsTrInG2287 the 6262 has individual EQ sections, one for the lead and one for the clean.

Very nice. Plenty of usable volume. It doesn't blow you out of the room when it's set on 1 or 2, like so many amps seem to do these days. And it will play clean and loud at the same time.

I did similar dude. I had a Marshall MF350, and a british boutique tube head. I did some side by sides with Mesa, Marshall, Peavey before I bought the 333xl. It burries them all. All the tone I want in one head. I'll be getting me a 6262 very soon too. I still prefer my Marshall cabs though.

@Drakggor try turning up the volume to saturate the tubes. Once the tubes get going the amp is unstoppable. I would also suggest looking at a better cab. I use a Mesa Rectifier with Vintage 30's and I couldn't be any more pleased with the 6262.

Yeah while that may be true these Bugera's are not known for their solid construction or reliability. I grabbed a knob on the front panel and I thought I was going to break it. His mesa's won't let him down. Thats why I went 6505+. Its reliable and proven.

When I carry a cabinet with both hands I can pick it up from below and carry it like a baby. Problem is you have to squeez it under one arm otherwise it will slip down.The wood/ply is too soft, so you crush it. I myself have already crushed to pieces couple of Marshall cabs while carrying it around under my arm ;)

I played this head paired to the cabinet and I didn't like it. the head sounded much better paired to a marshall 1960a(at 4 times the price) and also a blackstar HT 2x12 when I was playing rock / blues. I'm not a metal guy so I play right around where your fender is tone wise. The Bugera cabinet was kind of dull in comparison, but there aren't many new 4x12 for under $250

obviously you dont know much about amp heads. The amp "Head" is the box on top and it is the actual amplifier that amplifies the sound. The bigger bottom box is called the cabinet and that one has 4 twelve inch speakers in it. Without the cabinet there would be no sound from the head alone. Hope i have been of some help

The clean channel on this Amp is awesome, but on the lead channel; if you don't have the volume between 1-2, the sound will sound weaker. I have the same exact equipment that Satan is demoing, but I have to add a noise reducion and metal zone to get a better sound. I still hate the noise that the Amp produces when you turn it on (when I'm not playing it, and even when I mute the strings or turn the volume down), but for the price; I guess is OK, but I was disappointed.
