ej207 is the JDM STI motor. Forged internals and better flowing heads, also has AVCS and VF30 turbo. They've been known to easily hold 400+whp on stock internals.

8200 rev limiter from factory, depending on version it come with twin scroll turbos and EL headers :P ! gotta love those jdm !

It's funny. 3:21 is so relatable. One of my buddies I havent seen in like 10 years has a blobeye STI. How did I know he showed up at my house? All I had to hear was his catless exhaust. I had a blast with him in the canyons!

The bugeye is my second favorite impreza next to the 1st gen. I'm not a big fan of yellow cars and always thought blue was the only color for a WRX but noo way that yellow is proper. Also, you can really tell how tight and tuned that car performs, props to the owner, David really translates how fun that car must be to drive.

I had a 2002 WRX up until about 3 months ago (head on collision and it destroyed the car). Had a full exhaust, garrett 70mil single turbo, stage 2 tune pushing 18 pounds of boost. Thing was a monster and I miss it so much.

I love this Subaru, I love all SUBAWOOS! I just put an exedy stage 2 in my Nissan, then my engine died so I'm dropping another engine in it next week, just got the old one out yesterday. Anyway, love the vids bro and definitely glad to see a review again. 👍👍👍

Wait a second... bugeyes never came with an EJ25. They all had Ej20's (both USDM and JDM) although the engines were slightly different. The EJ257 wasn't introduced until the USDM blob eye

Actually the EJ257 wasn't introduced until the USDM 2006-07 Hawkeye came out, the 2004-05 Blobeye still had the USDM EJ205 like the 2002-03 Bugeye.

The STi blobeye has an ej25, I used to have an 04 STi. My mistake should've specified. The blobeye WRX did have an ej20, youre right. All I am saying is no bug eye ever came with an ej25

Those headlights are so ugly. He should look into painting the housings black or swapping over to some UK spec sti lights. I think the reason a lot of people don't like bugeye's is because the headlights are always so bright that they look dull. Once you get the contrast of the black lights they look 100× better
