Did you ever do a follow up on this? If you did, I can’t find it 😢.

Thanks for asking! I looked at it the following year but forgot to film it. The area that we dug was noticably less populated than the surrounding areas, but there were still many new seedlings that had come up. The client had forgotten to spray whatever chemical she wanted to try but was going to have her whole field sprayed by a bigger company. That was a couple years ago. Thanks for reminding me, I forgot to check on this last time I visited this property so I'll make a point of checking it out next time I'm there.

Thank you-I’m quite interested as I am in a war with Bugloss on my property here just east of Spokane. We have bees, so no spraying (well no spraying no matter what!) so I’ve been digging and pulling, but I know I’m leaving tap root fragments 😢. My hope is just to “ exhaust” the tap root energy over time….

My neighbors refuse to get rid of the bugloss and seeds into my yard every year. Noxious Weed Board is doing ZIP. They give me Rush Skeletonweed, Quackgrass, and creeping bellflower, tons of thistle varieties too. I''m furious the board refuses to get involved. She threatened to sue me for spraying knapweed, bugloss, cheatgrass and the skeletonweed in my front yard like I'm supposed to. So board cannot be bothered with this "dispute"...ugh-WHAT?!

That sounds like a nightmare! Sorry that you're going through such a headache! It seems really odd that the Noxious Weed Board isn't stepping in, that's pretty much what they are there to do. :(
