So it has a standing pilot. How many pounds of propane do you go through in a week/month ? How much was the cost of your unit ? Where did you purchase it ? Would you purchase it again ? When you discovered a leaking gas connection part, that was included in your purchase, did the manufacturer replace it, or did you repurchase it ? Did you even inform them ? Is the thermostat indexed by temperature gradients, or on a sliding graghic scale ? And is the thermostat mounted on the unit, or can it be remotely mounted ? I have subscribed.

That's a lot of questions. Yes, standing pilot. Propane use varies too much to measure. It's part time use in a mild climate and I have another heat source. Cost about a grand online. I'm very happy with the unit and plan on buying another for a Bugout Bungalow. The fitting came loose from the factory, I simply tightened it. No I didn't inform them. The thermostat is built in. It round knob marked from high to low. Thanks for subscribing

I guarantee it's not supposed to be right next to that window

Au contraire! That's exactly where it's suppose to be.

@@BugoutBill Exactly. It goes where room for the unit and interior design dictates.
