When i was a kid i found a glitch where if you get Taz to throw Bugs into a gate of an area you hadn't unlocked yet it would glitch through the barrier and start the mission.

Here’s a funny thing you can do in Granwich if you put Taz on the Target and then put Bugs on the arrow, you can send Taz flying into the air. You can also enter Sam’s Temple early if you’re in a far away position and turn the camera on. Send Bugs or Taz over to the temple when you’re far away from it.
