Oh, wow, I can totally relate to that! When my sister was born, I absolutely hated her guts until one day, after crashing on the sofa following a long, hot day of summer school, she crawled over and promptly fell asleep after curling up in my lap. Even I couldn't resist that moment. It turns out my sister all but worshipped the ground I walked on because she saw me as this cool guy she wanted to be around. All the annoying “gifts” and attempts to follow me into my room were her way of showing affection for me. She knew I was angry at the time for some reason and wanted to let me know I didn't have to deal with my problems alone. She wasn't old enough to talk in complete sentences, but at least her body language is something anyone but an absolute idiot can understand. My parents were happy that we were finally bonding after that moment.

@@mattstonge7112 I'm dead serious. Last year, Halie Bailey claimed that her version of The Little Mermaid is "better" than the original because she claimed, "We've updated the story. We made it more about seeking freedom for herself and it's not about Ariel finding a man. We are women. We are independent. We are modern. We can do anything. We also made sure it has more female empowerment and Ariel claiming her power back." She also said that the new ending in the remake where Ariel defeats Ursula all by herself instead of Prince Eric is better than the ending in the original because, "It gives power back to Ariel."

"Bully for Bugs" in its entirety is sheer comic perfection, I believe the best animated short ever made! The most painful experience I ever had at a cinema was a Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies matinee show (featuring many of the greats from that era, including of course Bugs, Daffy, Roadrunner, etc.). Throughout the entire performance, just as you thought you could stop laughing and give your sides a short rest from splitting, someone else would suddenly spontaneously combust into hilarity (maybe they just got the last joke a little late) and set the entire audience off again... 😹😹😹 At the end of the performance, I peeled myself off the canyon floor and concertina'd my way out of the cinema... 🪗 (Closest emoji I could find.) I hope they never invent a vaccine for infectious laughter, or I might for once have to take the stance of an anti-vaxxer. 🙀 By the way, *is* there a "right" turn to make at Albuquerque? 😼
