I think it’s great Paul that you acknowledge my comments. That’s why I find you both so authentic and caring thoughtful people. Whenever I go to a steakhouse the server will usually ask me to see if the temperature of the steak was right. Cutting directly in the middle tell you if the temp was done right. Then by eating from inside to out your getting the very best in case your full and can’t finish. My wife and I always love to have dessert. We take always split one. It’s the only thing she will share with me !! lol. We are not drinkers. Never were. And I’m glad. At those 22-26 dollar cocktails it’s really ridiculous. The bread cost did aggravate me. Some restaurants take advantage. We love to visit Scottsdale as well. Great restaurants there too. Anyway I enjoy you both and the fact you answer Er Mr makes it even nicer!! Be well.

Awesome! Thank you for being honest and mentioning the Male Karen. That's at least 50% of why I am not really a Foodie anymore and would never spend $450.00 on a meal. Anyways, you guys looked great and this was a successful meal! Thanks 😊

The crazy thing is he was literally at one point of the meal looking at us and being like, “You agree with me, right?” And we didn’t say anything to not add any fuel to the fire but his whole argument was about the Diamond Plus drink vouchers and since we are only Diamond we aren’t familiar with how the drink vouchers work, but I would assume if it’s anything like the Diamond Free High Roller vouchers that get spit out of the machine there’s a list printed on the voucher of what it can be used on or not and that you are responsible for any difference in cost for any upgrades or anything not covered by the voucher. While I wasn’t familiar with the exact details, the guy was upset that his Diamond drink voucher couldn’t be used on top shelf liquor or something like that and the server had to bring the manager who eventually caved and just comped it for him. But as the server tried to explain, the voucher allegedly had a price limit and terms listed on it on what it could or could not be used for and the guy basically was arguing back and forth in between us trying to film our dinner. It was bad enough that when our server came back to check on our table we apologized to him on behalf of their behavior other table. Like, if it was me and I found out my Diamond Plus voucher wasn’t able to be used… that just means “Oh well, another free drink after dinner at somewhere else it can be used - more booze 🎉” - You’re in Vegas, try to be happy and find the positive. -Paul

@JamesandPaulTryitAll that's wonderful. We normally travel for our birthdays. My husband's is in May we go to Vegas. My birthday is in August and 2 years ago we were in New York to see a play. Last year we had our children and my best friend's family at our home for a cookout.

Hope you two had a wonderful birthday! The price of your meal was on par with another video we watched of Beauty & Essex at the Cosmo where the food was served in small bite size portions. You, at least, got hearty food that stuck to your ribs. 😃

You watch Josh and Rachel too? That’s awesome- We love their channel so much ❤️ And yeah after watching that video I told James “That’s a bit expensive for the tiny portions of wonton tacos” but I can say that the portions at Bugsy & Meyer’s were worth the price (except the cocktails… at those prices they were a one and done) Thank you for watching and we hope you enjoyed. -Paul

Truth: I also have a giant pack of Maldlon sea salt. Where is it from though? Do you know? I instantly transfer my box to my grinder so I've no idea? 😂 great video lads, as always ❤

We order the big tub off Amazon - I know that at least here, Maldon Sea Salt is only sold at the pricier gourmet grocery stores often for $6+ for the small box, so getting the huge tub on Amazon saves us a lot of money because you’re essentially buying it in a bulk sized tub for the price of about 2 small boxes. We use it on our chocolate chip cookies, vegetables, and fresh baked biscuits or dinner rolls. It’s a great finishing salt ❤️ -Paul

According to Google (because I honestly didn’t know), it comes from a 135 year old family owned salt works on the Southeast coast of England in the English town of Maldon, Essex And apparently according to the Maldon site they have been using the same recipe and methods from 1882 We use it so often that we never once looked into how or where it comes from but the more we all learn every day ❤️ (that’s a cool fact) -Paul

Paul beat me to it, but yeah… according to the package it comes from Maldon England. Makes sense. Especially explains why we have to seek it out at specialty grocers. -James

Thank you for not being rude when asking ❤️ During the tail end of the pandemic I finally decided to get it done when I didn’t have to commute into the office every day. I have other piercings that aren’t shown on camera (chest piercings so the shirt covers them) and in general we both just love tattoos and piercings so it’s just been a part of our style. In fact I often forget it’s even in. We realize that it’s not for everyone (and I realize that some people may not like it, but it’s unique to us and our style and I have always said… if Guy Fieri can have Tattoos and be a success then we can rock ourselves as we are with the piercings and share our love for food and travel as we are. -Paul

Enjoy you guys. Love your reviews. However 16 dollars for bread that should be free? That Is unacceptable. Drinks were ridiculous in price as well The ribeye looked tough. But if you say it was Good. A better way to judge a ribeye or a strip steak Is to cut in the middle and work your way inside out. Anyway disappointed no dessert. No even a share. ??

We were far too full for dessert by that point. We tried, but it would have been bad. Charging for bread service is becoming more of a thing in steakhouses. Even in our local ones in Phoenix. I do agree that it should be complimentary for the price you’re paying for everything else though. -James

I will also say, the knife was dull…. As soon as the ribeye hit our mouths, it melted.

I didn’t want to spam comments here but I did want to chime in and say “thank you” for the tips on judging a Ribeye ❤️ I make both Ribeye and NY Strip at home so generally I am aware of what to look for in a steak but I always have gone from outside to in on that first cut - So I am going to try in to out the next time. And on the dessert… Our server offered us one on the house for our birthdays but we did not have any room and didn’t want to waste it, so he brought out glasses of champagne 🥂 instead which we did not film because he brought out the bill with the champagne and they were getting ready to close up so we wanted to be courteous as diners to wrap up so they can close us out so we didn’t film the champagne. One thing that I do try to advocate with our channel is that we always whenever possible try to finish everything that we order because we do not want to be the stereotype of vloggers who order a bunch of stuff and take a few bites and not finish the food or send it back. Sometimes this will wind up with us skipping the dessert or even skipping the Cocktails (if rehydrating with water is a bigger priority on that day) despite us wanting to feature them. But thank you again for the tips. I will be trying them on my next steak whether it’s out or at home ❤️ -Paul
