i bought a 2015 Buick Verano in 2018. This car has not been a problem at all. I love my Verano and its luxury. The only problem was that the backseat had too little leg room. If they had made the trunk smaller and given the space to the back seat they could have had more leg room. However, I still love my Buick Verano.

I bought a 2016 Verano in 2020, and it’s been a great, reliable car so far. 36,000 miles when I drove it off the lot in ‘20. The only thing I don’t dig about my car is it being a compact sedan whereas I should’ve gone with the midsize LaCrosse instead. But for it being a compact size car it has some room and space inside to be cozy and comfortable to sleep for a few hours if need be. Hopefully Buick will still be in business when I’m ready to retire my Verano and buy a new car. Buick, Chevy, and Cadillacs are among my favorite brands of cars (current and vintage) but for me nothing tops a Buick!

This car is amazing. Decent maintenance costs. Little issues that get solved at the shop. Good trunk size & honestly the best car for hills. I've driven my 2015 verano on the steepest hills of San Francisco. It takes u up that hill and u will not roll back. Hill assist on this is top class. My dad's cadillac is okay. My sister's dodge challenger doesn't really have the best automatic control systems loop for hills. It locks up on minor inclines like on a driveway. Also verano has the best alert system for collision detection.

So here’s my commentary. The cruz has a baby engine, which makes less power and doesn’t get better fuel economy. The cruz also looks like ass. If you’re buying a car you want that stuff and at only 4K extra for a car that people still see as being in style (the cruz is not) you go with the verano.

I’ve had my Buick Verano leather edition. 2015 since 2018. I love my Buick. It’s a smooth ride. I don’t see a thing wrong with it. I’ve always received compliments on it. It has enough power for me. The only problem, this is one my grandson complained about. There is almost no leg room in the back seat. It’s hard when you have a few adults un the car. You end up having less room in the front seats to make room in the backseat. The trunk has a lot of room. I think they sacrificed room in the back seat for a bigger trunk. If the newer Verano provided mor leg room I believe there would be nothing to complain about. So many people love the crossovers but for me I love my Buick. Usually by now I would be trading my car in. A while back I had a tire that was almost flat. Someone told me it was flat. I got out and looked at it. It was slowly loosing air. I barely felt it. That car rides so smooth and has such a great suspension system I could barely feel the flat. I would gladly purchase another one.

I have a 2015 Verano Fully loaded, and a 2015 Chevy Cruz LT. The two do not compare at all. Similar size and that's it. The Buick is so much more better made. The engine has 42 HP more than the Cruze better acceleration and luxury comfort. The cruze feels like a sports car. Stiff suspension but without the acceleration. If the Cruze had the same engine it would be more fun to drive. Also the Cruze front seat area feels bigger than the Verano, but the rear seating area is more cramped. When engine was consuming oil at fast rates? It never notified you there was a problem. You can research consumers feedback. Some lost their engine before 100k miles.. If you can find a Buick Verano with at LEAST 150,000 miles still running well? Good luck. I owned one and for the first time in my entire life...the engine crapped at 180k miles. My engine blew at 100k miles bought the car at 90k miles

My 2012 is at 93K and the engine went bad right at 60k. The dealership said I needed a new engine after doing the oil consumption test for several months. The car is still going only because I have to put heavy oil in it. I will never buy another one.
@briannablakeman3 жыл бұрын
describes my 2012 to a tee. doesn’t really bother me tho i beat the absolute shit out of it. started changing my oil myself, $40 every month or two and a little top off here and there is pretty good considering i haven’t had any valve leaks, electric issues, transmission issues, belt issues, suspension issues, etc.

I just lost my engine a few days ago at 135k. It was a 2014 and about a year ago it started gulping up the oil. Other than that I really loved the car and it was incredibly reliable. I’m actually really sad that it blew

Did you drive or sit in this car? Your description sounds like you researched on your laptop for about 15 minutes before putting together this miserable drone of sarcasm. GFY

back in 2016 not much ads about verano, but being buick should have been better, my 2014 version has no backup camera or wifi, great car otherwise dissapointing buick would even think of releasing such.

American luxury Opel German engineered and China shared on a Chevy Cruze compact sedan frame. The compact suv is its strongest competition actually. Women want what other mothers are driving - compact suvs not 4 drs sedans. Second was low advertising. Reliability - almost all had poor reviews. Buick never affected the Cruze sales. Cruze is simply more affordable.

Model years: in 2011 it was release as a 2012... then you go on a rant about chevy Cruze and never mention anything about its active Years of the Verano

Your opinion.
@jaaj73814 жыл бұрын
Partially correct. Most of what I said was either based on sales numbers, pricing, or the fact that it was a 'luxurious' Chevy Cruze. The only opinion I stated was that the car was quite bad compared to other cars at its price point.

I have had both. The Verano IS NOT a Chevy Cruze.

The engines are totally different. Chevy 1.8L isn't reliable. Lots of plastic parts prone to bend in high temperature. The intake has is a poorly designed. Putting a turbo on a 1.8L is prone to engine failure, if not driven casually. Less cab and trunk space. Buick 2.4L are more reliable. Easier to work on. Parts last longer if you maintain it. Suspension is way better. Still tight space when your working. But in comparison to the cruz, the buick wins. More space in the cab and trunk. When you adjust your seat you won't hit the person sitting in backs knee caps lol. I work on both of these daily. My sister has the cruz and, I own the buick. They are totally different vehicles. I am very glad to have had the time to actually get eyes on the real difference. The engine and parts are the main difference. I give it to the buick because its less worrisome. Both do have the same transmission the 6 speed. Nothing special the fluid change should be every 30,000 miles. So you don't have to take out the transmission filter. There are more KZbin videos on how to work on chevy cruises than buicks. That's what I don't like lol. But yeah... just throwing it out there.

Also you are not factoring The sales your looking at is Rental car purchasing these cars, and if Chevy gave the rental car buys of vehicles a cheaper price of purchasing a fleet of cruises. then Buick did . That's what the numbers reflect. Also guess what vehicles were always in the dealership falling apart. THE CHEVYS WERE. I WONT NAME THE RENTAL COMPANY I WORKED FOR. I WAS AROULD ALL THE DIFFERENT VEHICLES YOUR WRONG.

Many of us bought this car because we wanted the luxury and also didn't want this shitty 1.6L engine that is in the Chevy Cruz. The Chevy was def not more, or less reliable than this car.
@TruthHurts4042 жыл бұрын
Just outta curiosity how many times did you mention "the Verano is just another version of the Chevy Cruze? It's just a little more luxurious" You probably don't realize the difference in the engines. Buick has at least 4 trim packages from base model to premium and sport/Ecoboost. The latter is like turbo and is the fastest of the series I believe. Anyway I just educated you guys a lot more than this 10 minute spiel regurgitating the same nonsense. That's bc I actually own this car and know it's not the same. If you like it/not fine just don't go bashing a maker for no good reason. That being said Ford & Chevy aren't worth the $ tbh they just made a couple gems.

I hit a deer with my Buick, in western New York where deer are 200 pounds. The only thing it damaged was the grill, which brought me to your video. Nobody has a grill swap on KZbin. Make a video on how dependable, smooth, and well built these cars are.

My suspicion was right. I do not know much about cars but bec I moved downtown i downsized from my old Mercedes ML320 to the Verano 2015. I felt right away it was like driving a tin can and like it doesn't have enough power. But i thought i was just comparing it to a Mercedes and of course theres no comparison. So i put up with it and still am putting up with it. Now after watching this video my suspicion is right. I downsized and i downgraded a lot unfortunately not to mention despite of expensive maintenance, there are expensive repairs too. Cant wait to change it but thats by next year. Thank you very much for the info. I think i will go bacl to a Mercedes but i will buy a second hand B-class.

This video, in the words of this narrator, was stoooopid… and was an unnecessary waste of my time… you gave no quantifiable evidence whatsoever that related to the title. The only thing I really knew after watching this video was that for some uncommunicated reason, the narrator doesn’t like the verano…. Unfortunate for those of us what are seriously researching vehicles…. I would have looked to this channel in the for future reference if I thought they had some degree of credibility or ability to remain neutral while explaining the teased information…. Big no-no when providing supposedly informative videos… unless you were going for the misleading, biased , non-data driven content provider…. Then yes, you nailed it! 👍🏽
